Welcome to the 19th Gridcoin State of the Network Report. The SotN Report is a fortnightly report organized by @parejan and @jringo. It compiles useful news and statistics for the Gridcoin community.
DEVELOPMENT
CBR has made it to the Gridcoin testnet. As testing continues, discussions are taking place on how best to implement the mandatory when the time comes. To take part, join the #testnet channel on slack or any major social platform.
NEWS
We won the SouthXchange poll! We are in contact with their team and work is being done to list GRC on the exchange. Keep an eye out for news when we're up and running.
The poll for funding and approving a proposed GUI redesign has ended with overwhelming support! Design work continues for a while, so if you have any suggestions or ideas do reach out on the development thread linked below.

MARKETING & OUTREACH
Marketing planning continues! Thanks to the work of some dedicated community members, we have made contact with a few major science magazines about advertisements and possible outreach. We are looking for more people to contribute in this area, and for designers with experience in particular. If you want to help, join us in the #marketing channel on slack or reach out on this thread and we'll get you set up.

Every other week we bring you the most up to date statistics regarding the operation of the Gridcoin blockchain and Gridcoin BOINC projects. The information is gathered from Thursday to Wednesday on fortnightly basis and compiled from the getblockstats RPC command in the Gridcoin wallet, BOINCStats, GRCPool, Gridcoin Stats and from individual project websites.
