A day in the life of Mr. Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Canister.

in #googlyeyes5 years ago

This post is my entry into the @GooglyEyes contest. I originally tried to post it with PALnet. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it to work. When I press the post button I get the same message Steemit.com likes to give me, "Please remove the following HTML elements from your post: < span >, < figure >"

Anyway, I'm grateful for the PALcoins airdrop. Thank you MSP group and PALnet.io!

Let's visit some plants!

Seatbelts for everyone!

Mr Long Sprout Yellow Watering Can really likes his seatbelt. He likes having a really long name too. I think it is a long name to type, but I'll just smile politely and drive.

This little yellow assistant is going to help me water plants today! Trying to water plants without a long spout watering can is messy.

Location one is a fail.

It's locked? This googly watering can seems to even like locked doors and everything else.

This first location is a big disappointment for me.

We can't get inside to water the plants.

It's not my fault if the key is missing. I guess that's worth smiling about. We will need to come back later.

Oh well... back in the car. At least we got the mail. The mail makes Mr Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can very happy.

Let's go to location two... ... ...

WTF!? The car doesn't start and this googly yellow water head thinks it's worth smiling about.

This vehicle is designed with the battery in the back and behind a door that doesn't open with a key. Yup, if the power is out, we can't open the door!
The battery is done. I'm not smiling. It's the second time I've used the AAA service I pay for.

Mr Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can is still very happy. IMO, the only thing worth smiling about is being near the donut shop. I can walk to the donut shop while we wait for the roadside assistance. I'm grateful, but I'm not smiling.

Needing a new battery is not something to smile about. New batteries costs about 130-200.

Needing to be the guy that installs it, is also not something to smile about. If my sacrum could smile, it would refrain.

I'm happy to able to buy a croissant sandwich. The roadside assistance was fast I'm grateful for that too. The roadside assistance driver offers to install a battery for $181. My back makes me consider it and then I realize I can't pay. I can't pay part with cash now and have the rest of the balance charged to my regular bill. I talk about money too much.

Hey! Don't smile at my sandwich that way!

Let's go home and handle this battery situation.

We need to get a new battery after this tow truck guy charges the old battery and starts the car.

Don't touch my croissant sandwich!

I can do it!

DIY or die, right?!

So, I fork over some of that bass guitar gig money and purchase a new battery. I even installed the battery myself. Does that sound easy? It's almost easy in this car. It doesn't hurt to smile. Someone might mistaken me for a mechanic. I'm smiling because I'm not a mechanic.

No images of Mr. Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can and the new battery, but here it is. Our googly eyed watering can assistant is accompanying me again. This time it's getting Googly eyes for my pear. I smile about pears too.

Don't smile at my pear that way! I thought you were a carnivore!?

Finally, some plants!!!

Our happy googly watery friend is really happy to see this first indoor plant. It's hard to tell, but something about this watering can seems happier now.

I think my googly watering can assistant is especially happy to see a plant friend in a yellow planter too.

Yellow colors make this watering can happy.

Most yellow stuff seems to make this watering can happy.

Let's not forget the water.

I sincerely think this googly guy really does like everything.

This soggy headed Googly claims to like electrolytes, but then again, it seems like it likes everything.

Location two is a success!

Ready?

Let's go to the next location.

We are now on our way to location three. It's not that far of a drive and Mr Long Sprout Yellow Watering Can is excited to see more plants. I'm grateful to have been able to install the battery and get these plants in location 2 watered.

Coffee Break!

You stay here while I get a Gibraltar.

A Gibraltar is like a Cortado. The image below is dedicated to @mathowl. I got the infinity design idea long ago while looking at @mathowl's profile picture.

A Gibraltar and a Cortado are like macchiatos. A macchiato is like a espresso with milk in it. :) The Gibraltar is the only one that comes with free mineral water. It costs less too.

I composed part of this blog post while enjoying coffee. This googly water vessel doesn't mind at all. I'm grateful for it's low maintenance attitude.

Nice smile!

Enough pretending I'm rich.

Let's go to location three and water more plants.

Location 3!

We know what to do and these plants look hungry.

Water!

Check!

Now go!

We are in the zone.

More!!!

The plants are happy. Googly watering can is happy. I am happy.

Googly watering can is always happy.

Great job!

Oh, but... not that one. They didn't say... they said...

No! Not that one!

No! It's decorative!

No.

Yeah, okay... you found another.

Let's kick back a little...

No, that's not water.

Let's move away from that.

Hey look!

A video game!

Is that good?

Did I win?

Does this game make everyone dizzy? Watering Can?

Oh!

Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Canister, is ready. We are done, it's true. It's the end of the day for us.

Let's go home.

The sun is setting and we have plenty to smile about.

Googly Watering Can always comes up with something like that. I'm glad I don't like everything, but it's healthy to try, just a little.

That was quite the work adventure. Well done and thanks for your assistance Mr. Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can.

Mr. Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can is happy to be back at home with his old old old friend. His old friend's... name is uhhh... it was "Clucker" and then it was debated... I forgot what we stuck with.

The journey of a very thankful man and his smiling yellow friend.

And even old Clucker makes a reappearance...

I've got so many questions, like what on earth are you doing driving around watering plants, why do the planters in both locations two and three have these yellow plastic-pipe-thingies around, why is your diastolic blood pressure so low and why does Mr. Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can smile so much... maybe too much electrolytes?

You don't really have to answer any of these. I'm just smiling and thankful about you making this amaze-balls of a post with awesome sauce on top!

Good ol’ Clucker. Maybe Clucker can go next time. Maybe...

I had a feeling these questions would come up. It’s weird and lots of weird people in Los Angels have weird jobs.
I’m kinda like a part-time, licensed and bonded, Official Yellow Long Spout Watering Can operator/handler. I have a OYLSWCO certificate too. Some people call it “musician” and stuff that... like, “actor”, waitress”, “barista”... (I’m gonna get in trouble for that sarcasm.)

The planters in both locations are the same. They are metal hanging planters that have been powder coated yellow.

Diagnostic blood pressure? Is a new type of dark chocolate? I’m not sure. I try to stay healthy. Maybe too much coffee and sugars... but I like salads. Salads fix everything, right? 😬

Mr Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can looks HAF! I told him, but he just keeps smiling. Yeah, maybe too many electrolytes in one day. (He likes salads too.) Image Mr Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can’s face if I juiced him up with plant fertilizer!

Thank you very much for the compliment. I’ve studied Googly masters like you and many of the contestants like brittandjosie, insaneworks and... there are many! 😁

Is this better?

OYLSWCO what?! Anyways, it's probably hard to stay sane in the greater LA area... so it's probably good if all that doesn't make much sense to me :P

That also sorta explains why Mr Googly Long Spout Yellow Watering Can has this extrovert enthusiasms... I can only imagine how his therapy sessions are going. Using fertilizers is probably an unhealthy life choice, so good on you for keeping him off that stuff before he starts chasing the dragon.

Now about your blood pressure, I dunno, that's even lower than your last reading. Now as far as I know, you're still inside the healthy range, your systolic pressure (when your heart is pumping blood out) is pretty much spot on ideal (100-110 is A+), but your diastolic value (the pressure sustained by your bloodvessels) is getting close to what would be considered a LOW bloodpressure condition, this could be caused by dehydration or plaque?!?

Heh, don't be concerned, you're doing just fine and you shouldn't trust a doctor with googly eyes anyways. :P

Lol, what you say about LA is true. The OYLSWCO is an acronym for a certificate, the Official Yellow Long Spout Watering Canisters Operator certificate.

😁

My diastolic is probably being affected by too many sweet things, donuts, coffee and stagnation due to a healing back injury. I was dehydrated back when I injured my back too. Dehydration and plaque are a reflection of the poor diet I’ve maintained for the last 2 or 3 years. A blood test from August reflected my diet and lack of cardio exercise too. Thanks for your observation.
Look, my diastolic is better today:

That test was before a took some of this:

The combination of CoQ10, Cod Liver Oil, and Wheat Herm Oil is supposed to be good for heart health. The plants told me that. The plants also said all doctors have googly eyes.

I guess my images will always be sideways now. I’m not sure what changed. Thanks Steemit.

That smile on its face looks amazing!

Thanks for dedicating that image to me. In actual fact I have no idea why a mobius strip equals the infinity symbol :P

Lol, eternal smilieness.
That mobius stripe was supposed to be a sideways number 8, but the font I used made it look that way. The two red cups behind it are also supposed to look like an infinity symbol. The Gibraltar and the mineral water glasses are together to try for yet another infinity symbol.
Infinite coffee or möbius caffeine addiction?

Oh wow what a great companion and what a nice blog, all just over a cup of coffee. You are a googly pro great to see your entry !

Thank you, Oh I wish I could do all this in a single coffee unit of time. I think my caffeine tolerance is was too high for that. Thanks again @brittandjosie 😊

I can see the yellow assistant smiling

I’m glad you see it. It was probably obvious to me because I thought of it.
