Smoke on the water, fire in the sky!
While those may be clouds rather than smoke, this sunset lives up to the fire in the sky portion of Deep Purple's song. I took this from the beach at Seaside, Oregon last year. In the process of getting this shot I discovered that not all beaches are the same. I was used to the Atlantic coast of the southeastern US where it is generally hot and humid and the water quite warm. That was not the case at all there in Oregon, in the half hour or so I was set up shooting (I was barefoot the entire time) my feet got so cold and numb that it was a couple hours before feeling completely returned. Maybe the water could use a little of that fire in the sky to warm it up. . .
Woah. Resteemed!
Thanks! Much obliged.
