Does GOALS Matter? - Vlog #7

Hello Steemians & DTubers... Another Day at Another School!!

Yet another “parent episode” with me being here for my two older Children – Chloe and Caleb (Year 12 and 10 respectively). You didn’t realize I was that ‘young’ right? Hahahaha… just kidding. :)

I am extremely PROUD of the both of them!! They are just amazing children… one is School Captain for her Secondary College, and the other a budding Leader, Soccer Player and Performer at School Productions.

Today, they presented their GOALS to us along with their class teacher. How amazing is that? I have never experienced such an open and encouraging conversation like this before. It reminded me of my school days in Asia… it was NEVER like this. LOL!!!

As a Coach, Goals set up by my Coachees are truly essential! It is a scared time where my Coachee declares what he/she wants to work on and achieve. And especially when they are driven from a place of inspiration and purpose; which means their Goals are not just exciting, they are meaningful as well!

Ever set a Goal for the year, that had little meaning or impact to you? It just doesn’t work.

Once that purposeful Goal is SET, the next step is to Evaluate it to your current situation. Is that working out FOR you or is that working AGAINST you?

Next, is to Create OPTIONS around the Goals or sometimes called “Strategies” -- that would be like little spokes of the wheel. These strategies help you keep focused at how things are going to be executed.

Here’s wishing you a Wonderful & Meaningful March month ahead. It is still early days…

So does Goals matter. It surely does. Set your Goals, Evaluate your Progress and Create Options that will Impact the Execution.

Above all, keep at it and don’t give up!

    Goals are pretty important, as they serve as a measure for evaluation. More significant is the fact that they help you keep moving towards a specific target. Thanks
