GET TO KNOW ME CHALLENGE - MY TOP TEN POSTS

This is my 239th day on this platform and I must tell, it hasn’t been easy. But it’s been fun writing and learning from others. Steemit has made me a better writer. A quick peep on my first three posts will confirm this. I was a newbie to blockchain technology and writing. I thought I was good in delivering content and I saw Steemit as Facebook. Upload your contents and get likes (upvotes). I brought that mindset here, not until I was tutored. I’ve written 109 posts so far, and I’m amazed at how far I’ve gone. I’ll be sharing my top ten posts.

This post was inspired by @anomadsoul, he made a challenge here. All you need to do is share your top ten posts and stand a chance to win a prize.

You will get to know me from this compilation. I didn’t become a sport analyst, a story writer and a movie reviewer in one day. I was motivated to dive into those niches. My best post might not be yours, but this compilation was made according to how stressful it was to get the post done and how I was motivated to write them. These are my top ten picks.

10. STEEMIT NEW PAYOUT SYSTEM [Learn how it was gotten]

I made this six months ago, it was the best post I came up with that month. What would you expect from a newbie? I had little idea of how Steemit works then. The highest I received from a post was $0.20 with no comments. It was as if my posts doesn’t get to the public. Steem was added to the payout system and I took out time to study how the Steem, SBD and SP was gotten. I understood the calculations behind it, then I made a post with it. I was very happy when I saw the comments on my blog, it made me feel good.

9. I HATE MY POWERS (A SHORT STORY)

Ok, I need to bring you back. I made this last month. The first story I wrote on Steemit was terrible, I participated in a contest and of course, I wasn’t part of the winners. I started writing more stories and seeking great writers for help. You will love this particular one, it’s one of my best. I had just finished watching an heroic movie when I wrote this. It motivated me.

8. TECHNOLOGY IN FOOTBALL

I had written some sport and STEM contents. As a sport lover and a technology writer, I decided to join both niche and come up with a good post. It wasn’t easy getting what to write on but I had it in mind. All the technologies used in football was the exact writeup that fits it, and I killed it here. I loved what I came up with.

7. ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HOLOGRAMS

Well, I didn’t wake up one morning and start writing STEM posts. I was motivated when I saw the payouts the niche gets and I concluded I’ll write one. My first two STEM posts weren’t curated. I never knew I was doing something wrong till a moderator of Steemstem lectured me. I’m a computer scientist and holograms weren’t new to me. I was glad I did it right and I wasn’t surprised when I got the steemstem upvote on it. It was my first big payout, I’m very glad I wrote this.

6. HOW TO CREATE AN OPENED HEAD

If you’ve met me on discord, you would have noticed my profile picture. Lionel Messi with an opened head is on it. Don’t be surprised, I design too. I was new to PicsArt app then and I decided to test the tools on my favorite player. You need to see what I came up with.

5. THE WORLD CUP FINAL HASN’T STARTED YET, BUT I JUST WATCHED IT

This is one of the best sport content I came up with. I didn’t do my sport analysis on it. I wrote a story about a football match. It was about the world cup final, I made it seem like I was there on the stadium watching it. This post was made a day to the final match, it made me loved it. I was happy I did something different. Although, my outcome of the match didn’t tally with the real outcome, it’s still a beautiful read.

4. ACRIMONY – MOVIE REVIEW

Most of the reviews I’ve made were action movies. I never liked any movie without fights and violence so I stay away from them. After watching Acrimony, I started appreciating all movies. I did the review and with the upvotes I got on the post, I could tell the audience loved it. I wrote a lot about the movie and indicated the parts that needed to be adjusted. Trust me, this is a post you should read.

3. THE GAME OF CHESS

Before I started playing chess, I saw it as a very difficult game. I downloaded the app online just to play with a friend. After getting beaten thrice, I realized all the dos and don’ts in it. Then, I advanced to teach other people by making a post about it. I must confess, I spent hours putting this up.

2. THAT NIGHT WITH MARY (A SHORT STORY)

I’ve shared this story to many people, and the epic response I received lightened up my mood. This is a short story I introduced a beautiful twist and suspense. Well, it’s just a click to find out. My love for this made me put it on this spot.

1. ROBOTS MIGHT TAKE OVER THE WORLD

What was I thinking when I made this? I was just thinking out loud. What I’ve seen and the way things are being ruined in this century made me compile this. This is another STEM post of mine. My best! I could remember sitting down on a chair for more than five hours jotting down my points.
