Farm Update: Consistent Quail and Chicken Egg Production!
We're finally getting consistent egg producting and now have a few hens that were just freeloading providing eggs finally, one of them being a brown one. We don't have any white chickens at this point yet almost all of our eggs are some shade of cream color save for the quails, those are always crazy.
We've been doing a lot of moving birds around which has made them happier.
That tiny enclosure is for my pet chicken Meep, who spends it's days outside and it's nights in the house in a smaller cage with roosts in it.

You know there probably are some preppers and hobby farmer types that would enjoy your posts too. i know there is a sizable following of preppers here on Steemit. enjoyed the purple container.
@prairiepinner and I are hobby farmer wannabes (we would love to have lots of space and a little farm of our own...it's just not in the budget right now). I loved this post, and especially liked the rooster in your photo. We look forward to seeing some more of your posts...particularly because our garden is covered under a blanket of snow right now!
