Last hours to complete the world’s event, League of Legends

Well that took longer than expected,

Morning all and a good Monday to you all.

Currently at the last hours to complete the worlds 2018 event and I must say it was fun and interesting while it lasted.

So, few days back was having issue with my internet and also a little bit occupied which made me totally forget about the ongoing events after completing 30 out of 35 task, yes that long to claim the main reward and it was worth it.

Having said that, decided to subscribe to a hourly plan yesterday, one of the best subscription you can get from this part of the world, others might consider it expensive but when you really need to update those files, be it games or whatever, it really comes helpful but then the maximum time allowed is 1hour.

Meaning you have to get a good network spot that would allow you maximum or good enough speed to properly use the plan, or you just end up wasting your funds and also your time and I must tell you, it’s really annoying when that happens.

Moving on, decided to update and return back to league of legends, update was probably 50mb or so, upon completion, still had some time left to use the remaining data. Decided to update warframe, been seeing users play it somewhat often these days and probably thinking after update, I could get another steemian or user to pair up with for co-op game, yet to try out the co-op aspect of warframe but then the plan was just an hour which left me with little or no time to download the updates required, probably going to try it out later or when I get a good deal.

That been said, decided to access league of legends once more and man was I surprised to find out, only a day and half was left to complete the worlds 2018 event. Like I earlier said, been able to complete 30 out of 35 and it would have been a shame or waste of time not to complete this event.

If you a gamer like myself that don’t like purchasing in game equips xd, then you probably try to complete every event and task that comes up, in other to get the achievement rewards and worlds 2018 falls under this category.

After been active for more than two months, it really came with different events or objective and each have same and different rewards.

Most times you are given xp booster to increase your xp after each match, thereby increasing the rate you advance from your current level to another. To properly maximize this, it would be advisable you team up with good enough players or hope to get in a room with someone good enough to carry the game if you a complete noob like myself xD.

Reason, since it’s an xp booster, it works like doubling or tripling the xp you get upon winning or losing a match, so if you win the match, more xp reward for you and if you lose, well the reverse is the case.

You end up having little more than when you would have earn without the xp booster.

Other achievements included diamonds, ward and skins and there were actually time you could earn loot box and hextech key to instantly unlock the boxes, man was it fun while it lasted.

Some of the events or task came easy like getting 50 to 60 kills including assist and others not so much, some require using a specific champion to win a match and others actually require you to win the match without getting killed lol this is definitely not for me, can’t recall the last time I completed a match flawlessly without getting killed during the match, although it did happen a while back.

The opposite team actually gave up, that’s surrendered 5 mins to the starting of the game, reason probably they had one or more AFK, away from keyboard players and they saw it impossible to complete the match with our numbers higher than theirs.

Yea that sucks but then, there is a punishment that comes when you go afk during the match, hence delivering a suitable judgment to such players. Although, can’t say am free from such punishment, actually gone AFK after beginning the game but then I wouldn’t blame myself much as network cut me off, immediately after the game began.

That been said, back to the event.

Had 5 more events to complete in other to gain the grand prize which was………

Well you going to find out at the end of the post.

First event was win a match with Ahri, well I don’t consider myself a pro player with her, but have been able to get her ability to work with my play style.

If you never played LOL before now, Ahri is a champion who uses magic to send out a ball of light which passes through enemy dealing damages along the way and also upon returning back to her, deals same damage. Just like the ultimate ability of Draven.

She uses three other different spells alongside the Q, which involves trapping enemy in a love mode, that renders them harmless for a brief period of time, meaning you and your teammate can deliver damages during that time without having to hold back or defend yourself against any attack from the trapped enemy, somehow like immunity against such trapped character.

The next ability, sends out three lights simultaneously to nearby hostile troops be it minnows or champions.

While her ultimate one of my favorite of all the current champions on league of legends, it gives her speed, able to move very fast and sending out magic’s with three steps, very useful if you trying to evade attacks or probably want to deliver the final blow.

If you ever play Lol, do try out Ahri, she is fun and easy to use.

The other tasks were not that complicated compared to using a specific champion to win the match, they were mostly use a particular champion or get certain amount of damages and kills, as well as use 60k golds while ingame.

The first task was not hard, if you looking to get that much kills in a single or two matches, then Aram is your map to play, my best actually, kill them all xD, and if you are opportune to use ADC champion then the better. If you can't kill them, then chances are, for every kill been made you are sure to get an assist, especially if you use a champion like Miss Fortune.

That been said, I was able to complete the events and now own a 2018 Epic worlds icon and also a 2018 world championship emote.
