Zombie Adventure - Game 14 - Day 2 (Jan. 28, 2018)

Since we have a huge team, I will NOT be moving for those who don't reply in time. So far we have one person who is interested in taking over the character of any players who consistently miss moves.

Objective: Find a cooking pot (X on the map) and bring it to the kitchen. Find rice and water and bring those to the kitchen so that a meal can be prepared and eaten by all team members. In other words, all members of the team must reach the kitchen AFTER the meal has been made. To be clear: The pot, rice and water are picked up as items (cost is 1 action). These items are then deposited in the kitchen as actions (like a trade). Once ALL items required (rice, water and pot) are present in the kitchen, one player will use an action to MAKE the meal. At that point, all players need to visit the kitchen and use a final action to eat the meal. We could end the game when everyone ate or wait until everyone gets off the board. If any player dies, the game is lost and the zombies win!

bottom left rolls a 6 = Hulk. (YIKES!)
top left rolls a 5 = Runner. (Oh oh!)
top right rolls a 3 = Walker.

Sort:  

If the walker hasn't been killed yet, attack it. If it has, search the car!

Player 4

  1. Search the car. Roll 4 = success! You found RICE. (Well, that's one of the required items already found!)
    Skip actions 2 & 3?

player 8
move west and search the car. If anything found I take it.

Player 8

  1. Move West
  2. Move West
  3. Search the car. Roll 1 = fail. Roll 3 = You found another Walker!

Move W and search for axe and break the door to be in kitchen.

Player 6

  1. Search the car. Roll 3 = fail. Roll 3 to find a Walker.
  2. Attack the Walker bare-handed. Roll 2 = fail.
  3. Attack again. Roll 4 = success. You damaged the Walker by 0.5 !

Player 12 move west, move north and search

You are Player 11

  1. Move West.
  2. Move North.
    One more move North to reach the bus and do a search next turn. There is nothing to search on an empty street.
  3. Move North.

move west and again search . If anything found then try to kill hulk.

  1. Search the car again. Roll 5 = success! You found a pistol. (Great!)
    If you move now, you only get 1 more action and can't kill the hulk in 1 shot, so best to stay where you are and let the Hulk come to you. EDIT: Use the next 2 actions to attack the injured Walker.
  2. Attack the found and injured Walker using bare hands. Roll 4 = success. You finished off the Walker!
  3. Skip action 3.

Search the car some more, need more equipment!

edit: will attack zombies first, if necessary, with my bat

Player 1

  1. Attack the newly-found Walker using the baseball bat. Roll 3 = fail.
  2. Try again. Roll 6= success! You killed the Walker!
  3. Search the car. Roll 6 = success! You found an axe! (sweet! Best to give the bat to someone who needs a weapon.)

I will hand the bat to whomever decides to take it during their turn

Ah, guys, that's cool... I'll just hang by the bus by myself...

Player 2: Search the bus. Collect whatever items I find, fight whatever zombies I find.

It seems steempunk is taking another vacation, so I'll do it manually.

  1. Search the bus and hope for only good items! Roll 4 = success! You found water! (That didn't take long to find the required items! Does everyone want to make it 2 of each or go with what we already have?)

yes, unfortunately. the sbds from stinc doesn't work at all. so we decided to write our own blockchain database parser. sorry for the inconvenience

Aha! So that probably explains the trouble logging in and the fact I don't see any treasure chests again. Also why it takes forever to see my SPF indicator go up. At least you are able to write your own parser. I don't even know what that does! Good on you for being able to resolve these issues. I have no issues with the inconvenience. The ultimate end goal is the objective and if you can do something to make that better, then wait we will do! Thanks for all that you do!

  1. The login problem has something to do with the problems with steemconnect. Every service that used steemconnect had Problems last days. Utopian, for example.

  2. We use software from Steemit. This parsed the blockchain and puts it into a real database. But this doesn't work at all. That's why we're writing our own

  3. Yes, that explains the trouble with your SPF. Sorry for that.

Oh oh... That doesn't sound too promising for the Smart Media Token (SMT) then. If they can't write decent software, how do they expect to be able to have so many users running their own coins on the back of Steem? Hopefully they get things sorted out soon. There are a lot of people excited about SMT's. At least they get the chance to test out how their systems work and can make adjustments now before the big rush.

Hmmm, maybe 2 each would be best... I didn't expect it to happen so quickly.
Actually, no let's keep it as it is... maybe a quick game is a good game, especially with so many newbies learning the ropes?

Well, it could be considered lucky that it wasn't you that got injured!

Shit. A damage at the beginning ! Need to keep player 3 out of harm.

  1. graciously accept bat from pandorasbox (unless there's more zombies. then first attempt to murder them bare-handed, THEN get bat).
  2. break door to kitchen
  3. move north, unless there's a zombie at that location. if there is, skip third action.

Am I laying too many conditionals ?

Player 9

No, you are doing great giving possible outcomes. However, only an axe can break down doors. Plus, strategically, it would be better to grab the bat BEFORE fighting so that you can do twice as much damage with each hit. If I may suggest your moves:

  1. Take bat from player 1.
  2. Search the car. Roll 6 = success! You found the best weapon in the game... the CZ-550!
  3. Shoot at the Hulk in the spawn zone to the west. Roll 3 = fail. (Now when it moves closer, you can kill it with just one hit! Try to be first to take action tomorrow.)
