Snow Bros - Remembering videogames 9#

in #gaming6 years ago

Greetings from Venezuela, in this ninth edition I bring you Snow Bros, a fairly old game (1990), but I played in the aforementioned "Nintendo Sparrow" or the pirate console that I had when i was child , but this console left me happy memories

Although the game is quite old, the version I played was a little more advanced (1993), in which the monsters and the colors that were shown changed a little bit. Its gameplay is quite simple in terms of controls, how complicated is the frenetic thing that can turn the game so dificult, so playing with a friend makes it much more fun

The objective is defeat all the monsters in the room and advance level, every 10 levels a boss appeared to defeat; To defeat the enemies, they should are attacked with snow, until they are turned into a ball and then pushed to finish them.

The story is not very complicated, on the contrary it is simple and classic, and in fact it reminds us of the plumbers that are already well known and that we remember in the 8th edition of "remembering video games"

With the above I do not mean that it is plagiarism, only that it has a certain similarity, but come on, most of these stories are about saving a princess or something similar, it's like the most popular premise; although in certain versions of this game the story changes a bit, in fact there is one in which it is the princesses who save Nick and Tom.

Something very funny that I remember is that to defeat them faster, you can return one of them a snowball and position yourself well to push and run over the rest of the enemies, if you manage to finish several at once, potions appear that give you special improvements as speed, more range, more power in the snow and momentary invulnerability

The bosses can be complicated, but not impossible, although recently I recorded a small game in which I reached the 10th floor but I could not finish the first boss, but no way. Soon I'll upload it so you can see it on Dlive

Actually these monsters seem to have much resemblance to the demons of Japanese culture, but it is logical, because the industry that developed this game (TOAPLAN), is from Japan.

The captures taken are from a game that I played recently, the credits are for their respective developer industry; They are released recently an Android version, so if they want to become even more nostalgic, they can download it to their phone if they have the possibility and so they want it clear. That was it for this edition until next time!
