Game Review: Story of Seasons Trio of Towns Review - Almost Touching
The Harvest Moon franchise has been running a lot of years, but in recent years the game got a bit of a slap. In the meanwhile, the game has been renamed and the new adventure fans have to be replayed. Or, if you can, you can read in this Story of Seasons Trio or Towns review.
Trio of Towns takes off with a pretty generic story. You've always wanted to be a farmer from a young age, and now you've finally come to the right age, it's so far; You may start your own farm from your skeptical father. A slender story of course, but oh, it's about the farmers in the new Story of Seasons.
Playing Boertje
And that farmer plays surprisingly well together. Although you start with a small farm, it soon grows up to a sizeable size and should reflect on what you want to do first. Before you know, the day is over and you have long been unable to do anything that you fancy. Or maybe you want to do too much in one day and fall into fatigue.
Story of Seasons Trio of Towns , like its predecessors, has a stamina system. This ensures that, at the very beginning, you have to take into account what you are planning on one day. As mentioned, this is a problem in the beginning of the game, later you will be able to take meals that remove this problem. Unfortunately, this eliminates the main challenge of the game.
Work with the villagers
The name of the game is based on a trip to villages, from which you can choose to sell yours. At the beginning of the game, you can trade only with a western town, but later you will also have access to a tropical village and a more Asian village. Gaanderweg will help you find out which village pays more for a particular product and that way you will find out what you deserve most.
This trip to villages is also the most original that the game offers you. If you have played a Harvest Moon game in the past, you will feel at home in this Story of Seasons Trio or Towns.
In fact, there is always something to do. Do you have no reason to water your land on rainy days? Then you go for a day in the mines to work on pearly gems on the graves. Or if you're more interested in fishing, that's of course not a problem either.
But why?
The only problem is that after a considerable amount of hours you will be wondering what you are doing. You have closed friends with the inhabitants of most villages, your farm runs like a tierelier and you have money like water. One of the challenges is to get the best product from your country or your animals and win a festival.
But that will happen sometime in the month. The rest of the month you will be working on maintaining your farm and friendships. Ohja, and you can marry. But outside of a nice scene there is also a lot to be found.
Besides, you do not have to read the last paragraph as if the game could be written off. Story of Seasons Trio of Towns is simply a game that is not for everyone. Are you someone who can spend hours working for his farm in Farmville or one of his clones?
Then Story of Seasons Trio of Towns fits your street. If that is not the case then you will enjoy yourself less time with the game than you would expect at first. There is always something to do, even after you have loved all the fellow countrymen and have won your farm a number of festivals. The question is only if you want to keep doing that endlessly.
Story of Seasons Trio of Towns Review - Could be better
Ultimately, i can say that Story of Seasons Trio or Towns is a game that is fun, but does not endlessly endorse. At one point you will have seen how the chickens, cows and chicks are.
You can therefore decide whether Trio or Towns is a game for you. Will your inner peasant heart beat faster after reading this review? Then you can definitely get this game. If you expect to buy a kind of Animal Crossing when buying this game, you will come from a cold fairy home.
The plus and the drawbacks
✔ Farming is best fun
✔ Time management
✔ For the real digital farmer...
✖ ...so not for everyone
✖ Pleasure of short duration
✖ Over time, becomes monotonous
