The Story Of A New Earth
We are living in exciting times. Technology is changing every day, our lives are changing with it.
With this new change comes a lot of new opportunities. We are being exposed to ideas that were the themes of science fiction books from the last century. We are truly living in the future. Now that we are in this exciting new future, there are a few things we need to learn to do differently.
The economy has become a global market and it's time for our perception to globalize as well. When we were constrained by our physical boundaries, it made sense to have a tribe oriented mindset and therefore it was natural to be afraid of/threatened by other tribes. This was a protective mechanism and helped us survive.
That's not the case anymore. The Earth has become one tribe and we need to treat our brothers and sisters like the family they are.
We are facing SERIOUS issues
Climate change and other things are going to put a serious damper on the party that is life on earth right now. In order to balance these issues we are going to need to have innovative ideas and then work together to implement them. This is going to take an effort from EVERYONE!
In order to accomplish this, we as individuals need to assume a larger perspective. No longer can we only take responsibility for ourselves or our families. We need to assume responsibility for our true home, spaceship earth. When we assume this perspective we will no longer act in a way that is damaging to her, and our wellbeing.
We need to support those around us.
The ideas that will save us from our own extinction exist in someones mind, waiting to be manifested. Ideas of that nature are challenging to birth, and will require the support of peers and family alike. When we stop putting people down and holding them back (due to our own feelings of lack), and empower others to share their beauty and wisdom with the world, we will make it easier for individuals to share, create and innovate. This is the type of behavior that we NEED in order to save ourselves.
No Pressure Folks
I'm an eternal optimist. I'm confident that we will make the changes that we need; however, it will take effort! If we all make a small contribution, the cumulative effect will be magnificent! Platforms like Steemit are a wonderful example of how this new world is manifesting. In the future (aka the now) everyone will be supported. People will work together to create wonderful new things. You will be able to share your wealth and abundance without losing anything yourself. Let's keep giving. Let's keep growing. And by golly let's keep this party rolling!!
