I've been here over two weeks and I am starting to settle in to a routine and I like it. Here is my average day on Steemit told with Will Farrell GIFs.
Wake up, grab a drink and sit down at the computer
Logging on and seeing that there is no change in how much I made overnight
Make a rude comment
Realize it is a whale's page
Make a really insightful comment on someone's blog
Meet a new friend in the comments
Refreshing the screen 10 times and my latest post is still at $.02
Seeing a whale reply to my post
Watching a new blog go from $0.27 to $5.66
Head over to the Music tag to see what's going on
Seeing people comment on my post saying they love it without an upvote
Accidentally click on a NSFW link
Write a love letter to Steemit
Mess with some minnows
Realize I've been on for 36 hours continuously
Sign out, go to bed wishing I was still Steeming...

Haha......that's super funny! I can relate to some of it but one's things for sure....steemit is super addictive! Also....it's hard for us newbies to get noticed sometimes but that will of course come with consistent effort. Good luck!

It is hard to get noticed, but remember this is still in beta and if you can get a good following of fellow minnows and grow together, it will be easier to rise through the ranks. I feel for you for sure. It's only parts of it that reminds me of my day. Being new for example, I spend a lot of time on Steemit, trying to learn, meet people, and work on my content creating.
I have spent a lot of time on here lately. I need to make a decision about how much time I need to dedicate each day. It has become obsessive. lol
