Well, I Did It! I Officially Applied to be the Official Pizza Tester at Bath Pizza -- Across the Pond in the UK, England. I promised to Teach them About Steemit, Crypto & Hold a Meet Up There Too!
Well, it is a big day for me as the unofficial Pizza Ambassador of Steemit and Canada.
I was tagged so many times by friends and family -- and one very large Steemian you all know -- @ericvancewalton on a post about this dream job..... I looked into it.
At the end of October, 2017 I applied!
The BBC had officially even posted on it the day before as well on their Social Media. I was tagged by relatives over there in the UK. It was on their BBC Radio Bristol page.
Both days I responded to posts on the matter and decided if anyone loves pizza like me and all that goes along with it on the business, fun and food end, it is me that would be a great fit to be a paid pizza consultant LOL.

Pizza is not only a fun food, but is easily the most ADAPTABLE dish for any palate, lifestyle or tastebuds. Pizza by and large is a passion for many of us, and a complete food group!

I could go on and on about all the years I have with my love affair of the pie. I don't fight it. It's part of me.
My friends always tag me and send me pizza related items of course, like so many great members of this club we belong to. Nobody is going to try and put it pasta you guys there will be great applicants who care deeply about pizza.
I talk about pizza and think about it more than the average person and I have come to grips with it and my love of all things pizza.
I am that guy who dissects the cheese types, looks at the crust underneath when it gets to me, peels it back and checks under the hood to see how the toppings are layered. How the sauce is spread and then get my finger in there to actually pull off the sauce to check what kind it might be as it stands on its own merits.
I talk to staff about how business is, who their suppliers are and have even helped some of them improve their supply chain honestly. (:
Basically I am a #PizzaNerd.
Sure, I could do videos, and provide you an hour long dissertation on why I am a good candidate, but everyone will do that.
Rather than that --- I can provide you written proof already online, with photo evidence also, some of it I post on daily on my Steemit Crypto/Blockchain blog where I am a top Blogger on the platform and everyone already knows my love of pizza there!!
I worked out humourous pizza promotion into my local Real Estate business on my signs, which is also in the blogs below.
I submit to you, my existing resume showing proof of my pizza love, and why this would be a good fit for both parties.
I have a lot of relatives in the UK who would like to meet me, and me them, and it would provide a family reunion of sorts for us, having never met them and all my family history is from the UK. In fact - some of them were the ones that tagged me in posts about this on Social Media. ( some North American friends did also and I chatted with the BBC people in their post about your opportunity)
I was run over by a car 19 mths ago and have fought my way back to being able to walk again, but it has not been easy.
It would just actually fit some of my life goals I have written about - unite me with some family and my love affair with pizza would continue to write its own story.

I am that guy who dissects the cheese types, looks at the crust underneath when it gets to me, peels it back and checks under the hood to see how the toppings are layered. How the sauce is spread and then get my finger in there to actually pull off the sauce to check what kind it might be as it stands on its own merits.
I talk to staff about how business is, who their suppliers are and have even helped some of them improve their supply chain honestly. (:
Basically I am a #PizzaNerd.
Sure, I could do videos, and provide you an hour long dissertation on why I am a good candidate, but everyone will do that.

I have a lot of relatives in the UK who would like to meet me, and me them, and it would provide a family reunion of sorts for us, having never met them and all my family history is from the UK.
