ACTIVIST POST: Leading a Protest Outfront City Hall (again) with the National Media Present (again) - Our Governance Never Makes the News for Anything Positive. Positively Corrupt Maybe.
Well here I am again with the bullhorn again, and the city square packed full of people unhappy with the usual crappy people and policy in city hall, just like most of your cities too.
They dropped the ball as usual -- today's episode of idiocy at city hall had to do with the Pet Bylaws in the police state of Oshawastan here in Canadastan.

Ironically, I am highly allergic to most animals with my allergies, turns out I am really allergic to political lies, laziness, fascism, special interests and corruption too.

We had effectively saved the rink from the city hall rats earlier this month when the gutless and fascist mayor began his usual cowardice calling in police when he gets scared of fed up residents.
Harman Park is an important rink and asset to the residents of this city. Lots of info on that out there if you want to search it believe me LOL. Some on my YT channel
This protest here, in the freezing cold sleet in late Jan. had me showing up simply to support an issue here -- but they were not organized or effectively starting anything as time went on so I stepped in and let er rip again calling out chapter and verse and names/file associated with the issue at hand.
The National Media had gathered waiting for the fireworks to start since activist in Oshawa here like me had been quite active engaging the cowards at city hall along with the (paid off, nonfeasant) media since Oshawa is full of problems.
The media with the big trucks and satellite feeds were just standing around, I did not want their time to be wasted, so I stepped in and started it and the crowd joined in --- sometimes it takes someone to step out as we know.
I did not plan on this, it just happened.
I am still doing everything I can, for colourchallenge to NOT just post flowers every day like everyone else and some people have appreciated that LOL.

Lately this week, I have been sharing some of my personal protest/activism photos and thoughts.
It continues today with my friend who visited outside of city hall where I stood for ~80 days over the course of 1 full calendar year to raise awareness of the poor governance and transparency and service to residents who pay the freight.
She has a lot of similar beliefs as me and eventually moved -- I sold her house for her since that is what I have done since 1991 and is living mostly off the grid on the west coast of Canadastan now.
She visited me here on one of those many days outside city hall, where I stood 2 blocks from the police station who harassed me and badgered me needlessly to try and intimidate me with their constant pressure being the bullies in the police state they are, publicly paid, to target informed and innocent residents since of the lies and crap in the public sector.
The Bees and Bad Governance in our Cities:
We are kinda hippies and see the lies in government and waste of tax dollars, and related theft of civil liberties.
She was a beekeeper too and I have pictures of that. It is neat.
Bees are super important and we should be nice to them, they make our food and are being killed off with all the GMO crap in the world today, the insecticides, the toxins, etc etc as you may know.

Being out off the grid is one way to develop more Self Reliance skills, as well as disconnect from "The Grid" --- and just immerse yourself in some nature, and the peace and quiet that goes along with it.
It has been proven being out in nature for periods of time, helps the overall health. And it makes sense too.
My interest in offgrid life for many years now, is Liberty based as well as wanting to be away from the rat race and closer to nature and the simple life
Bushcraft is basically "Self Reliance out in the Woods" where you take the things you need but Primitive Skills and Living etc is the focus.
I am doing everything I can, for colourchallenge to NOT just post flowers every day like everyone else and some people have appreciated that LOL.
And yes, I know most people are not reading most of a post on here, but that is not my fault.
I just post every day about what I like and what I care about and usually explain WHY.
One of the things being out in the bush with people can do is teach / show some UNITY -- even though in the grand scheme of the global poverty and political corruption it does not matter.
- but primitive skills and being able to work with people DOES count in times when you need them to.
It also does teach a lot of valuable life lessons.

But they are great memories for me!! You have to remember, some of the pictures I share at times, (not always of course LOL) are from 2006 and my year on the road....and so is the technology I was using then.
Digital Cameras were not what they are today, so the quality suffers. I usually quote the source of the tech I am using, depending on what album I am sharing from in my life.

Someone had me over to discuss their solar set up plans recently.
They are surrounded in a n'hood with 3 storey homes and tons of trees twice as tall as the houses, which are all close together.
I had to say. All the sun is blocked out during the sungathering hours LOL
I said sure if you cut down that whole side of the yard of giant pines and ask your neighbour to do the same LOL
I like trees so we ended the chat there hahahaha!!
