My child forced me to embrace menstruation
Today while I fed my youngest my toddler came and rested his head on my stomach, pressed his hand over my belly button and said “baby”. At that moment I was never more proud to be on my period. I was surprised to find out I was pregnant with my youngest, and I decided I will not be taken by surprise again. I’ve also decided to humble myself and embrace all menstrual cramping from this day forward.
