ScholarsPH Blog #26 : Last Stretch for Carlo and JM’s Team Achievement
For our first scholar in Laguna, Carlo is in his final semester in college. After this period is the most awaited graduation, we all know that it is not only him that is excited but all of the people who supported the ScholarsPH project as well.
Here's a short update from him regarding to what is happening on his end.
School is doing fine and the subjects are somewhat okay as well. There is a subject that is called Project Management and it is one of my major subject which i find kinda challenging. For our final project on the said subject, we will need to organize an event for the people in need outside of school. This one would probably demand more focus unlike the rest of the subjects which are kinda chill.
Now we are having our school's annual sportsfest. It started last 17th and ended on the 20th. We are not required to participate hence I decided to spend my time working. It is also our Christmas break now and classes will resume on January 3rd next year.

As for JM, he mentioned that the most challenging subject for him this semester is the 3 Accounting subjects: Accounting 2, Cost Accounting and Managerial Accounting.
We are advised by our professor that we should not have all of them combined in one semester because of the difficulty of those subjects. It is more on computations and analysis. I have no other choice back then because the following subjects are the ones that I have remaining in the previous years, I am an irregular student, by the way, and that is the reason why there are some subjects that have been missed.
We also have the subject called Global International Trade which is again thesis :disappointed: the good news is there's no defense :sunglasses:. We just need to provide some documents for example we will need to choose a country that we will represent. We need to present their famous food or delicacies and add our own twist and that is what the challenge is on.
Also just to share our team won the back to back championship in the previous intramurals for basketball.

Our scholars in Laguna wouldn't make it without your continuous support and on behalf of the team, we are truly grateful for your generous hearts that relentlessly gives. Till next time!
