Learn about collaboration and how collaborators may help your project

Sunday is almost over and we hope that you all had some good rest and fun too during your weekend. We will finish it together by going over an important addition your projects can have, collaboration with others. It is good to be resourceful and self-efficient but imagine what great things we can accomplish if we work together with others. There is no telling what your future has for you if you are not alone while building it. Today we will help you understand what does the collaboration on fundition.io mean and how it can help your project be successful.

If you did not know this before, our name Fundition has a hidden collaborator in it. When we were thinking about the name, we were thinking about fund and collaboration because we believe that a team approach can help almost every project.

When you are starting your project on Fundition, right there on the first step where you are asked for main information, there is a special little button you can press below the area where you write a description. It is an option to allow collaboration. You will see this line: I would like Collaborators to help me (with ideas, suggestion, and more) and all you have to do is click on the button to approve this feature.

A Collaborator is a user who decides to support a project (without necessarily giving financially) by actively participating in it and helping with its creation and progress. A collaborator may work on a project, share ideas, and give suggestions to the Founder.

There is a huge chance that you as a founder do not have all the pieces of the puzzle. Maybe you do not even realize how much other pieces are out there because you do not see the big picture. We believe that many people can contribute to each cause or project and that there are even those that wanted to make a project but saw how someone else already did it. Why let their resources, inspiration, ideas, and work go to waste?

The founder can choose to open his project or not to collaborations and if he does, all people need to do is click on “Collaborate” to immediately become a Collaborator. Collaborators CAN'T change the initial project presentation but they can make posts using the tag of the project and bring us news and updates. They can be volonteers or beneficiaries to the project but the biggest benefit to the founder lies in the sharing of ideas and general help with the project construction, implementation, and promotion. The project will reach a much bigger audience if it is shared more and talked about more. That is where collaborators truly shine.
