Why, Is there any issue?
The most important reason is that running three servers to get a few pennies in steem a month is not sustainable. Plus, I got someone who
preninja-mined a ton of steem and the CEO of steemit (via @spaminator) flagging @proboards even though I'm doing EXACTLY what the blockchain permits us to do. I even made sure my account had sufficient resource credits to start archiving data on the blockchain.Defending myself from flags already takes up too much of my time, and bigger whales give zero fucks of the good deeds I do on here. So, I'm not going to spread myself thin anymore ... I actually want to have MORE STEEM by the end of year, not less ...
From the exchange below it would seem that flags come from berniesanders. You do know that the CEO of Steemit Inc. is Ned Scott, and he is not the same person as whoever controls the berniesanders and associated accounts (thecyclist, nextgencrypto, ngc, iflagshit, etc.), don't you ?
Anyway, I would be very happy if some of the people approving your witness would use their freed slot to approve @lux-witness, the witness run by myself (@sorin.cristescu ) and @pstaiano.

anthonyadavisii is not any better than patrice, and neither is themarkymark.
You should and can remove mack-bot's spaminator's own daily spam posts but never done so.
You vote for themarkymark's witness and he too is part of the corruption here.

STEEM must be held accountable for not only allowing but actively participating in this flagging scam . They deceived thousands of users with fake promise of 'blockchain freedom' and earning potential but once you get in and purchase STEEM you get flagged by the company's CEO and his buddies . Disgusting and illegal

That's sad to hear. Hope you're keeping well and not trying to do too much. The bear market has sapped a lot of the energy from all crypto projects.
But, as day follows night, the next bull run will come. We have come too far to turn around now
Well this is indeed sad news. I hope you will reconsider. I voted for you and encouraged all my friends to do the same. I think the SOG would have done more promoting, if we felt you were near this decision. I really believed you would eventually keep rising over time as I believe you do have a good heart for the people here and the chain.

Understandable. End of year, time to see what has worked, what has not, time to reflect on where we are and where we want to go. Hug your wife, make a child laugh, time goes by and the strife dies back. When it is time to try again it will be time to try again. I know launching your witness campaign involved a lot of inner searching on your part as to whether this was something you really wanted at the time. Perhaps next go around it will be different.
I still appreciate how you try to keep the freedom of steemit blogging free from the constraints of those Do as I say, not as I do" type people.

Throughout my journey on the Steem blockchain you are one of a handful of people that has made a real impact on my own belief in the concept and potential, my Witness votes are always full and I have a list of names I would like to support - but will always make a slot for you Witness if you reactivate in future.
I still feel confident that this blockchain will achieve it's full potential, there are so many active hard working minds on here - most of us might not have a great deal of stake - but only a few tiny sparks are needed to keep a fire burning and see it burn bright once again.
I have mixed feelings about this. I always thought you were destined to do things much more important than being a pseudo politician. Let's call it a blessing in disguise.
