Meeting friends. Student internship. Part 13.

Bollywood.

This week I went to see a Bollywood movie with my new friend. We took the train to sunshine village and waited at the cinema there for it to start. I've gave her a beer called "Future Memoirs of A Root Beer" And she loved it.

When we walked down the hallway for the movie to start it turns out it got cancelt last moment! Because they could not get the rights they needed for the "bad" words they where using in the movie.

So instead of going to the movie we went back to the city and had a nice dinner.

After the dinner we went to check out La La Land in the center of Melbourne. It is this super chill place to hang out because they got really nice sofa's and you can play arcade games like Mario kart of watch anime on the wall projector.

B-days.

The next day I went to the B-day party of my old house mate in Moondog (first picture). However since I am still on my diet. I cannot drink beer or eat the pizza there. It was really to bad because I think I missed out a bit. I will start drinking beer again after my RBT workout is completed. Because I just love beer to much.
But it was good to see my friends again and we should hang out sometime soon again.

Got to do this stuff.

The next day on Saturday I did chores cooked a bit and went working for Deliveroo. I earned a whopping 61 dollar in 1 hour at my best hour!
When I was doing grocery's and it was like 25 degrees. It somehow started to hail and storm.
I had to think of this.

Book of Mormon.

The day after that I went to see the book of Mormon. A comedy theater show about religion and Africa. The last time I saw Aladdin so my standards and hopes where really high. This one was good but did not reach that level Aladdin did.
I think because Aladdin has much better scenery. I went with a dutch friend of mine. And when it was done around 3.30 PM, we decided to go to the beach. This is the first time I went to a beach in Australia. The water was really warm and nice. Sun kept going till about 7 PM.

I absolutely loved this week and had much fun with my friends.

Thoughts.

Some random thoughts I had this week is that there are a lot of posters or ads in Melbourne saying things like "Let the refugees in" Or "Close youth prisons". And I think this is not good. As I am from Holland I see what is happening to Europe with the refugees and the ones not willing to adapt to their hosts culture and causing lots of trouble. Especially the youth. In Holland if you go to a park and do sports with your friends or just have fun. You get laughed at. Our culture is so changed that no one ever hangs out outside anymore and the innocent kids in us are gone. Here in Melbourne there are lots of 20 year olds doing whatever they think is fun. For example people from 6 to 50 year old are in skate parks. I never seen a group of thugs just hanging around in the middle of the night here and bothering random people or doing something criminal. This is because Australia has a strict policy and one of the reasons I came here. Because its working.
