Unique Beer Top 5

Hey steemians! how are you doing. In this post I will show you my top 5 beers and explain why I like them.

5. Westlander

Source
Brewery: Westlander bier micro brewery.
Style: Blonde Ale - Belgian Blonde / Golden
Alcohol: 7%
Description: Made by Crispijn & Sven that had the dream to make a local specialty beer in the Westland decided and formed by the people there.
Why this one?: Westlander is a local beer from the place of my birth. This is not the reason I like it. The reason is like it is because its mixing the taste of a pilsner like Heineken with the more advanced taste seen in Belgium beers. Keeping the alcohol in balance. I would say if you ever visit Holland near the Westland, Hague or Rotterdam. This is a must try. Buy it at the AH store's or at the better cafe's.

4. Red Horse Beer

Source
Brewery: San Miguel Brewery
Style: Lager - Euro Strong
Alcohol: 8%
Description: Red Horse, the first extra-strong beer brand in the Philippines, is the high-alcohol beer brand of San Miguel Brewery, it is a deeply hued lager with distinctive sweetish taste balanced by a smooth bitterness that leads in a strong alcohol kick
Why this one?: It gets loads of bad reviews! why would this be in your top 5?! Well its pretty simple. Alcohol. To be honestly fair about that. I do drink beers because I like the taste. But sometimes you do not really want to take the time and have the best tasting beer and try to figure all the ingredients. Sometimes you just want to party. This beer is probably one of the best to accomplish that. As its very very easy to drink. The lack of strong tastes or bubbles make you sip a 0.5 liter bottle in faster then you can drink a cola. Besides that. The taste is definitely not the worst. It goes very well with some salami or salty snack.
A very honorable mention is Cobra beer. its a Indian beer made in the UK as well as India and has 4,8% It calls itself an extra-smooth premium beer. And smooth it is.

3. Kracht Hout

Source
Brewery: Brouwerij Breugem
Style: Belgian Quad / Strong Ale
Alcohol: 11%
Description: Kracht hout. meaning Power Wood. Is a beer riped from Palo Santo wood from South America. Made by Patric Breugem and Derek Walsh. While drinking this beer the temprature will rise and new aromea will appear. You can smell and taste cocos, Vanille, mint, a real taste experience.
Why this one?: This very unique taste of wood makes it taste like a smoked beer. Unlike the description would make you believe this beer could be one of the very best beers to have with roasted meet an a chocolate and nuts dessert.

2. Future Memoirs of A Root Beer

Source

Brewery: e9th brewing
Style: Root Beer
Alcohol: 4%
Description:
Future Memoirs Of A Root Beer sets the scene of a retrospective window into the future with a glimpse of all the outrageous, awesome things you’ve already done in your upcoming destiny… the memoirs you’ve already told your unborn kids about.

Future Memoirs Of A Root Beer introduces you to the new movement of Alcoholic Root Beer, and with a signature blend of flavours including Sassafras, Vanilla and Cinnamon, it delivers an experience like no other.

Why this one?: You sip your first sip and you know it. You aren't just drinking beer. You are drinking something that was your dream to drink when you where a child. Its the perfect combination of bubbles and sweats. Tasting like all your favorite candy mixed into a drink. What cola should have been.
But in all seriousness. This a ultra sweet soda like 'beer' Its great for having this on late night dance parties. Do not spoil this on your clothes because its ultra sticky as well.

1. Double Shuck

Source
Brewery: Tempest Brewing Co.
Style: Imperial Stout
Alcohol: 11%
Description: Oysters and stout are a classic pairing, it was at one time considered a poor man's meal and has since became something truly special. The salty, briny taste of the oysters paired unusually well with a thick, creamy, roasty porter or stout (and they still do!). So we decided to pay homage to this traditional pairing, by brewing an imperial stout with freshly shucked Lindisfarne oysters - 200 to be exact - and smoked paprika.

An often shocked question we've had about Double Shuck is "Does it taste like fish?" and the answer is, not at all. The oysters give a good minerality to the beer, adding a unique depth achieved only by their being added to the brew, as well as a bit of brine saltiness in the finish of the beer. The beer as a whole is smooth and rich, with deep roast and burnt chocolate flavour, only enhanced by that slight salty note in the finish.

A unique, and delectable brew, the new batch of Double Shuck is truly something special. Enjoy with fresh oysters or seafood for the ultimate pairing.

Second description: An imperial strength stout brewed with fresh Lindisfarne oysters, shells and all, this silky, roasty stout is complex and deep in flavour.
Best served at cellar room temperature, preferably next to a warm fire on a cold weekend.

Why this one?: Well it has an second description because its almost impossible to describe. Check the online ratings and reviews and even YouTube video's about it. I am working for a oyster company myself but I am not so into oysters. But this does not taste like oysters. This tastes like the ultimate dark beer. Its deep in flavor and makes me want to have a really good peace of beer or campfire with it. A beer you drink while its snowing outside. I can make 10 more great combinations.
This deserved first spot because its actually a specialty beer that is real beer.

@cleverbot

What is your favorite color?

This comment has received a 1.04 % upvote from @drotto thanks to: @banjo.

I myself can not get enough of wheat beers. (wheat state native, go figure). If you get the chance, try a Boulevard Wheat. I'm sure you've had Blue moon or Sam adams, but Boulevard is more of a midwestern beer, so if you find yourself out this way, check it out!

So happy with your actual comment. I'm going to write that down!

Nice post, you have content, build up your follower base. Look for people who post similar stuff and call them like you did to me.
Keep it up

Thanks man. Good idea.

Never had any of those. Here in Azores its not easy to get beer from other countries.

Long live Homer and
SteemON!

Never heard of that place. And most of these are local indeed.. It's hard to find good international beer. You can try to find on the internet. I know brewdog is on there.

The colour of the Westlander beer is very inviting - nice post

To be honestly fair about that. I do drink beers because I like the taste. But sometimes you do not really want to take the time and have the best tasting beer and try to figure all the ingredients. Sometimes you just want to party.

I feel like that lots of times!

Corrected.

It's absolutely not original works. The photo sources are not cited and the descriptions of the beers are copy and pasted from bits of the web

Thank you for notifying me.

This is not fair. Descriptions of products are not mine to change ? They are descriptions. my own opinion under it is what counts.

I understand what you are saying, and you are right.

The reason @OriginalWorks identified it as Original Work is because of those opinions.

The only problem is that there are no sources provided for the description information. Please add a link somewhere in your article pointing to the source. I have contacted you on Steemit chat if you would like to discuss this further.

Otherwise it is a great article!

Keep steeming! I have followed you with my main account!

Very curious about this "Double Shuck" :)

Try it when you get the change i will try to get the source tomorrow.

edit: added sources

You are welcome!
