I will begin by thanking the Freewrite community who quickly responded to our call for Freewrite Poetry using the new tag #freewritepoetrydigest for providing us with such a rich sampling of their poetic skill and humor!

@lazarus-wist creates a fascinating poem using form to present the freewrite prompt in a unique manner.
@eaglespirit created a beautiful spiritual poem using the prompt robe. I recommend this for the lovely execution.
@ablaze is on fire with a humorous take on the comfort level finally reached in a relationship.
@iyanpol writes about a homecoming in this piece and captured the feelings we all may feel going back.
@wordymouth executes a beautiful freeform poem with rich imagery and takes us back to the time of Texas panhandlers.
