Welcome back to our Poetry Digest brought to you by @wandrnrose7! We have been on hiatus since the November Madness Contest and my hip surgery! The November Madness went wonderfully, in my opinion, and my surgery and healing progresses well. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to participate once again in our Digest. Please take a moment to read the entries and resteem the digest to get the word out! Today I would like to nominate @d00k13 poem on the prompt sunset. I had no idea the d00k13mister had such great poetry hidden in that Canadian soul. I guess when you live in the cold North, you try to think of the sun all the time. He put together a poem of reflection and thought. This is a must read. 👍👍

I found a delightful poem written by @sayee using the Weekend single prompt option posted by @mariannewest. This was such delightful freestyle verse about wildflowers filled with whimsical speculations that it left me with a warm feeling. I hope you check this one out!

Have you seen this poem and author reading DTube video? I love the message @kaerpeduem presents. The video was creative and well produced. I'd love to read more and watch more spoken poetry. War is far too prevalent. The poem's ending message is very uplifting and I appreciate her thoughts.

I found this gem by @deepsouthpiddlin which was prompted by the word Sunset. Unfortunately DTube would only play the video up until the river portion of the video for me. But I was allowed to see was very well-produced. However, the poem stands alone and its own Beauty. It's very well-crafted, both visual and musical poetry with touch of romance tucked in.

We encourage our Spanish Freewriters to participate in the digest and here is a DTube video written by our Spanish freewrite leader @latino.romano. Unfortunately I can't make a comment on the poem because I don't understand Spanish yet. But please enjoy his contribution
