Gracias @c-squared / @c-cubed y @guiltyparies

Thank you for the opportunity and for the dedicated work you do for the promotion of writing in Steemit.

"reality continues to have cracks where astonishers fit" - love that line
I love to read, but I envy your life long passion for the types of works you mention in your first entry, works that sear the heart.

And oh my your ode to a cat!

Your amber eye pierced eons,
jumping enchanted galaxies
to procure my little sorrows
the sweet lullaby of your silk loin.

Yes! to all of it!

Thank you very much for your reading of my texts and your beautiful comments.
I'm sorry I answered so late, but in my country the connection is very bad and makes communication very difficult.
Books are the gateways (but there are others, no doubt) to universes bigger than us. They widen us and make us more sensitive to connect.
I am touched by your words.
Receive a hug.

I love that we can go back for this contest. I often feel my old stuff is essentially archived a week after I've written it. Thank you for this contest that allows us to revisit them.
I love this one of mine. I remember my feelings bouncing around as I wrote, and they are all still there as I read it today.

That is why we started this contest. To give stories a longer life :)

Thank you...

But I don't know if I can put so many tickets! Can I leave them? I left two before!

You can leave as many as you want :)

I thought your text was very good. There is an exact and very expansive use of language, which allows you to recreate the sensations of the world you create.
I feel a trade in this writing. A good use of narrative perspective and narrative voice. I wait for the continuation.
A hug!

Thanks for saying this. I will try to put up the next part today. I do feel there is something in and about my writing that could be so much more, some magic I am hoping to express. Maybe in time it will come....

Maybe. I think that writers (and artists in general) have an image of what we want to do that is always better than what we accomplish. For me, Steemit has been a master at teaching me how to deal with imperfection, without giving up what I aspire to!

Thank you for participating. Good luck!

Thanks...

OK - I'm in again for the next Literary Talent contest, and this will not be my only entry :)

https://steemit.com/busy/@fitinfun/freewrite-day-507-hunger

Thank you so much for doing this.

I love this entry from you, it's both very you and engaging. And I know what you mean about the fiction writing - often what I write has elements of my own life in it and it's the details I fill in that make it a fictional story. No need to be more than you already are!

I really liked the introduction to your text. The life experience that you comment on is amazing, of course, but in the introduction you refer to a matter of particular interest to me: how do we live the experience of the boundaries between reality and fiction? You have a very kind way of expressing it. Thank you.

Here's one from me. This was definitely the most powerful experience I have had freewriting (Thank you!) and I may spiffy it up to enter it again.

I'm trying to choose an assortment from my favorite works so far, but here is a second freewrite that really seemed successful for me. It was one of the times I had no idea what was going to happen as I started writing, and this fabulous little story popped out, good characters and all. Like magic!

I think this brings me up to three selections. Thank you for this lovely walk through my writings! I really like them! What an unexpected gift freewriting has been.

Pleasant surprise to read your texts, @owasco.
Ironic the first (perhaps sea fairer to say that left me a kind of crooked smile); and deeply strong the other. Both have the grace of good writing and a very intense way of keeping up.
I liked them very much.
A hug!

thank you! a hug to you too

the vote on the above comment was supposed to be a 100%. So, here it is

Wowser thank you! That is a major haul for me, and is six times what I made on the original story! Really appreciate it.

You are welcome. It is kind of the idea behind this contest - to get you all a bit more rewards :)

That’s a sweet prize 🥳
Is this where I drop the link ....

I can not get to this post via steempeak, I had to use steemit. I'm finding this to be the case with a bunch of freewritehouse posts. Thought you might want to know.

That is super weird since I used steempeak to post. But I find with many posts that I have to go to Steemit - anything posted on Partiko for example. Weird. Maybe I need to go to their discord and find out.
I use mostly Steemit for comments and such because it opens all the apps and I am tired having to keep logging in every time to make a comment. Very time-consuming...

I'm not having that problem with steempeak, and I like the voting slide and the create post function. Maybe you could use a different key? I switched to using my posting key yesterday for steemit instead of my password and I can still post, comment and vote freely. But I've had this problem with your posts through steempeak for a while now. I can see a lot of them, just not all of them. And I have the same problem you do with partiko posts, sometimes I can't react to them unless I use steemit. Very frustrating and time consuming!

I am signing in with steem connect. I never have seen an option to sign in directly with a posting key...

Me too. I just realized I only changed it for steemit, which recently gave me a message that I was using my password and that my posting key would suffice for the type of activity I engage in. Made it all safer or something.

signing in with Steemconnect if I click on "sign in other user" it brings me to a sign in screen. I think it could be changed there.

That screen allows you to switch accounts...

I think you could enter your posting key instead of whatever is already stored there. Of course that is probably your password, which should allow you to do everything. Keep in mind, I barely know what I'm talking about! I'm so terrified of losing my password I don't like to touch a thing, but I did manage to change the key I use in steemit from my password to my posting key with no trouble.
