Today I step out of my comfort zone and decide to share one incident that everytime I talked on it, I felt embarrassed and unforgiving. But life had moved on since then and I am better off now so I can write on it.

It was the most stiff moment in my life. And bored too. And almost fainted as well. After giving birth to my son with CDH, I, not only not able to see him, but with my both legs lifted up and both thighs still in open-position wide apart after giving birth, they were about to stitch my cut. I had normal labour so you know what cut I am referring too. But while they were stitching, three of them were discussing about the error they made and they undo the stitch and redo it. I was in pain as the pain medicine had wore off, I could feel the intense pain of each stitch at delicate part. But I was at zero strength to move at all.

Later after 2 and a half hour being in that bored stiff awkward embarrassing and painful position, I heard them said "I think we are done, can be included in our final report. Call the Professor to look at our stitch," then I realised they were the trainee doctors. Oh my....I had just sacrificed my delicate part for them to be trained. To write this is 100% out of my comfort zone.

On time to finish my short embarrassing bored-stiff story of my post-labour.

That is an awkward bored stiff situation. All my three deliveries were at government hospitals as well... All caesaran... And i had trainees, MO, and specialists visiting me everyday when I was admitted and before the big day. Especially for my eldest girl. Admitted for nearly two weeks before the day. The VE was the bored stiff awkward situation which I really uncomfortable with...

Yeah man. Talking about the bored stiff awkward situation...when I pushed Jansen that time, there were 10 surrounding me. all cheer me up. counting 1..2..3... push! they are so loud really work as a team but that time I could not appreciate oh. 🙈malu betul

Oh my! I can imagine your eyes rolled to the back when you heard they are trainee doctors 😅. Glad that you've healed well. Thanks for being vulnerable and share us with your story @iamjadeline!

Wanted to roll eyes but eyelid also no strength. Closed eyes all the time only. What I could think was I wanted to get out of labour ward to find out was Jansen alive. So it sort of helped me divert the focus. Thank you @michelleloh168 for support

Omg, do you mind telling me which hospital is that? This is so scary having only 3 trainee doctors to stitch your cut and redo it once they realized it is a mistake. You are a great mother to bear all these pain. I can't imagine the pain to deliver a baby.

Will message you personally to give chance to the hospital so the name won't burn in blockchain forever. I guess everyone even hospital management can be given the chance improve. This incident was 3 years and 7 months ago.

You are such a understanding person. Big thumbs up to you. There are not many people like you who will put yourself in their shoes especially when it comes to medical treatment or procedure.

By the way they are already qualified doctors but learning to do labour plus stitch. I believe they are professionals now. They need hands-on-experience to improve right? I was 'lucky' to be their 'rat'.

Two and a half hours? And listening to a conversation like that? Wow!! Your patience is admirable @iamjadeline ...

I didn't have patience that time but I could not do much due to no strength to move at all considering that time was already dinner time and I had no food since 8am. Guess everyone was nervous due to it was a risky childbirth they forgot to take care of me. 😂

You did good 💪🏾😊

Oh my! That did take a lot of courage. I felt your piece because after my third delivery I, too, felt every stitch there, the meds had not kicked in as my delivery took place almost immediately after a pitocin drip was administered to finish my labor that wouldn't naturally progress. It was awful and I remember being exhausted and telling the doctor, "I feel every stitch!!"

Trainer doctors!? Oh, my goodness. Hugs, good writing of a bad experience.

Yikes! Compared to your first gynae who is superb in this area, I know this must have been terrifying and still terrifying for you. So sorry you had to go through this @iamjadeline. This was a very difficult time for you, I still remember you fainted in the toilet at the same hospital. Good that you are now all fine.

Oh my, that sounds horrific. That women go through the child birth thing at all amazes me, but how they do it more than once truly astounds.

Ouch, just imagining it makes me feel the pain too...
I hope you are healed from this trauma.
