A Favorite Freewrite Poem
Recommend Freewrite Poetry is now a weekly event at the Freewrite House.
So many of you are gifted poets and sometimes, we don’t find all the wonderful poems. As always, all of us together are going to be so much better. We see more poems and all of us have different tastes and opinions. We like to hear them!
We extended the time for this contest and you now have three days to find a Freewrite Poem and participate. Please, help us find the talented Freewrite Poets out there so we can feature them.
Win, Win, Win!!!
You Tell Us about your favorite Freewrite Poem for a Chance to Win Memberships in Steem Basic Income.
This week’s sponsors are
@curie
Thank you so much!!!
Prizes
2 x 1 SBI share sponsored by @curie
2 x 100% upvote from the Freewrite House (at the time of posting ~ 0.14)
Winners are chosen by random drawing.
We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrite poems of others you have read in the last week you really liked. Not your own!!
Please make sure to search beyond the #freewritepoetry and #freewritepoetrydigest tags. Not all poets use them and we want to find them all!!!
Please make sure that the poem you recommend was inspired by a freewrite!
Remember the comment must be at least 50 words long - no upper limit!
In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.
So, to be entered into the drawing, tell us about a Freewrite poem you really liked and why.
The Rules
This is what you have to do for your chance to win:
- Find a Freewrite Poem
- Leave us a comment as specified above
- The comment must have at least 50 words
- We will let you know if your comment is accepted and give you a number.
Here are a couple of free word count tools:
http://wordcounttool.net/
https://www.countofwords.com
At 8 PM Pacific time the Saturday after the publishing of this post, we will close the contest and draw the winner through a random number generator.
The winner will be announced and sponsored the same day.
Finding a Freewrite Poem
If you are not familiar with the daily freewrite prompt and the many wonderful writers who produce the most amazing 5-minute (or sometimes much longer) Freewrites, go to @mariannewest and look for the prompt. The graphics look like this
In the comments, you find lots of links to all kind of Freewrites and Freewrite poems. We are asking the poets to use the #freewritepoetry or #freewritepoetrydigest but not all do. Search high and low for those wonderful poems.

hahaha I like being called brave :)
Thank you so much @freewritehouse
If only we already knew our journey from start to finish, then choices and decisions would be made accordingly. But obviously that's not the way it works. @empress-eremmy, rhymes of her journey through present and future. Of showing up no matter what, and to put a brave face on. To keep fighting the fight, even though no one will ever know what it holds. Read it here:

Thanks a lot dear
You are most welcome :D

I found this beauty of a poem by the poet @seifiro on the prompt dry lips. This poem was that feeling you get after a first kiss, and that time of the day when the sun falls on the horizon and sends those majestic colors throughout the sky, bot spectacular. Wondering when our lips will meet again to relive that glorious feeling of our tongues touching, could it be 24 hours like the next sunset, or would it be much longer. A very powerful read. 👏

Good afternoon, on this occasion I would like to recommend a poem written by @ jakim7 in which he again takes up his philosophical tendency through poetry, analyzing in a brief but complete way his vision about the need to cultivate values over an egocentric tendency, but also in that effort, he manages to complete it as an acrostic, which shows the degree of difficulty in which he was submerged when taking care of the rhyme on the one hand and on the other following the acrostic form.
For these reasons I request that you be considered for your support, then leave the link of your post: </ div>

4 @saulos
Born out of the experience of living outside his homeland @charjaim presents a poem and acrostic in which he expresses the love she feels for his homeland, highlighting the values with which she identifies it, leaving open the possibility of returning to his beloved land, letting us see that the children of the country profess in the skin so much love as towards a beautiful mother rich in culture. Here I leave you the link to her post

5 @saulos
I found two poems that I really enjoyed. The picture from @wandrnrose7's dolls creeped out @wonderwop and his poem about those dolls was so funny. He called them "creepy sisters" which was perfect, and his last line of the poem was a perfect and funny ending. https://steemit.com/freewrite/@wonderwop/two-creepy-dolls
@kimberlylane freaked me out...big time! I will never look at dolls the same ever again. Talk about scary! And her haiku approach for her thoughts was incredible and in my opinion, not an easy thing to do. https://steemit.com/eye4artpoetryweek/@kimberlylane/untitled-queen
1 @whatisnew
Yay, you found two!!
Good evening dear family, I recommend reading this beautiful poem written by @saulos , the style of this poem is called imperfect hendecasyllable by its author, it is written under the style of an acrostic, the title I remember a beautiful tango called also FOR A FEW EYES BLACKS. the metrics of this poem and its musicality are of a poet hardened in the depths of loving and wanting, our friend presents us with the coming and going of love that goes away but does not want to go, for which I thank you to consider my recommendation, all receive a strong hug and blessings from on high ...
