Recommend Your Favorite Freewrite Poem - Week 12
A Favorite Freewrite Poem
Recommend Freewrite Poetry is now a weekly event at the Freewrite House.
So many of you are gifted poets and sometimes, we don’t find all the wonderful poems. As always, all of us together are going to be so much better. We see more poems and all of us have different tastes and opinions. We like to hear them!
We extended the time for this contest and you now have three days to find a Freewrite Poem and participate. Please, help us find the talented Freewrite Poets out there so we can feature them.
Win, Win, Win!!!
You Tell Us about your favorite Freewrite Poem for a Chance to Win Memberships in Steem Basic Income.

I would like to recommend a poem written by @larryparra using the prompt washcloths. He starts out by saying that he wants to go to another world because of the dire situation people are in where he lives. He needs many washcloths to wipe the sweat and tears of the elderly and others who are suffering, waiting in long, hot lines at the bank to get money that isn't even enough to pay for bread, then waiting in hot, long lines to buy food. It sounds to me like there aren't enough washcloths in the world to help all of those who are suffering but you can help by voting to show that you care. It might even bring a much needed smile.

https://steemit.com/freewritepoetry/@moofang/kit-a-freewrite-poem
I found this poem by @moofang on the prompt kit that got me thinking about writing. Sometimes the stories just flow through your mind, and sometimes we just stare at the screen trying to figure out where to go with the story. If they were just included in a writing kit with everything included, it would be so much easier to write. Good job @moofang. 👍
I am really impressed by this poem by @emms. I was hooked on the leading line:
I feel the exhaustion of a spirit that has tried and tried...sometimes you just feel like the water runs through you.
The comparison of a person to a washcloth was very interesting and I believe the writer has a deep understanding of suffering and trial.
Another interesting line:
This line is multi-layered and could denote spiritual growth through trial. The poem a was very creative use of washcloths.

Definitely worth reading and rereading!

Keep up the great work guys.

Thank you!
The essential part of a poem is to convey a feeling, to make the reader feel a series of sensations, it should go further than the rhyme and the words chosen with great care, it most show its vocation. When I read the freewrite of @lilimacías my heart stirred and experienced the bitterness she tries to transmit, so much that it became a lump in the throat.
As I commented to her in her post, just few times a writing manages to provoke a reflection that touches the heart of the reader, what she wrote has the efficiency of a poem, even though it was not the intention according to the tags she used.
That is why I humbly ask that her post be considered in the value it has.
