Another Contest? Why?
Freewriters are such a wonderful bunch of people. We all want to write, of course - that is why we are on Steemit. But the Freewriters also want to help and support each other.
A couple of weeks ago, we asked you to please step up and support the Freewriters and the Freewrite House. And @eaglespirit raised her hand and shouted: "HERE."
She committed to sponsoring one Freewrite House contest per week with a share in Steem Basic Income.
After a couple of weeks, she noticed that the names she was sponsoring were quite familiar and what she really wanted to do is sponsor some new people into Steem Basic Income.
Well, that was easy. We love contests. So, let's create a new one!!!

This Contest Will Run Once a Week for Six Weeks
Here is what we want you to do.
- Search the Freewrite comments for new Freewriters.
- They can be new to the Freewrite Community or, better yet,
- New to Steemit.
- Make sure to check out the Spanish Freewrite Community.
- Start a conversation with that person and find out if they are here to stay.
- Leave a comment here and tell us about the new Freewriter you found
- Or, if you are new to the Freewrite and have participated at least 5 times - meaning that you wrote 5 freewrites from the daily prompt, you can nominate yourself.
- You can nominate the same person every week.
What is in it for Me?
- All entries will receive a 100% upvote from the Freewrite House.
- Your name will be entered into a spreadsheet and we will pick random winners for SBI - at least once share, but if the posts earn a bit more, there will be more shares. this is at the end of the 6 weeks.
The Newbies
- Your name will be entered into a drawing.
- After 7 days from posting, there will be a random drawing for one winner.
- @eaglespirit will sponsor you into SBI
- Everyone will get a shoutout in the Daily Prompt

What is Steem Basic Income?
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
In other words - you get a regular upvote on your posts. It is small if you only have one share, but you can have as many shares as you like and/or can afford. With each share, the upvote gets a bit bigger.

Join the Freewrite daily prompt
I would like to nominate @oculussensori, who is freewriting about love, death, life and even food; sometimes in a quite unusual, very vivid way . The last poem starts with a shovel in the middle of a house, and ends up with metaphors from Mordor - from The Lord of The Rings . As i saw, the rewards per post are usually, waay under a dollar.

I'm recommending a very new freewrite newbie, @aejackson. He's done two so far, different in tone but both great fun to read. If that's not enough to keep you busy he's got some interesting longer form fiction as well.

I would like to nominate @jordan.white306 who's only made about 3 freewrites but I truly enjoyed them. My personal favorite would have to be his freewrite about grief which was very heartfelt and hit home for me, you can tell there's been a lot of thinking and emotion put into that freewrite. I would also like to nominate @aden.stanway375 who's only made 1 freewrite! The freewrite that he did make was very descriptive and had a forlorn sense of abandonment to it since it was set in the future world where the government was corrupt. You can follow this link to read his freewrite!

I just started on these so not sure yet who are the new people. I may run across one to nominate. What I can do is visit a lot of the entries. I try to read a lot of freewrites anyway. I have been meeting some amazing people through that tag.
