Slowly slowly they all realised how convenient and - let's admit it - much more entertaining this was. As usual, Nyarlatothep was the one opening the dances. The smartass, after all, has always been the first of the class; not for nothing, he's the messenger of them all. Cthulhu, in the beginning, was a bit hesitating. Sleepy as he usually is, he wasn't really attracted by this world made of strange jargon and rules. Between the breaks from a nap and the other, Mr. Squidface could have been a bit more brutal than his know-it-all fellow, but never make the huge mistake to underestimate him. As a matter of fact, he soon understood that behind all those financial rules, the true chaos and madness was waiting for being gifted to humanity. The rest of the story, as they say, ça va sans dire: first or after, all the Gods understood that playing with these financial rituals and games could be so much fun. An incredible toy, way better than taking humanity to destruction through the traditional way of directly spreading chaos, horror and madness. In a way, it was a bit like passing from eating a burger to tasting a delicious and juicy fillet. Hastur, Tsathoggua and even Azatoth, over there at the nucleus of the cosmos: they all started to play one after the other with bonds, shares, swaps, futures, tax dodging schemes and any other product that - usually through the twisted mind of Nyarlatothep - could come handy to them. Only Yog-Sothoth, all alone and self-relegated in one of its dimensions, was still bubbling like an idiot and entertaining itself with its worshippers, the portrait of a kid playing with his favourite marbles.
