Color Challenge - Monday Red! | Community Event - Bikes On Bond | LIBERTY Pictures, Activism & Philosophy. | Government Corruption. The Police State. Broken Governance Cont'd.
Despite the corruption in my town, tax dollars are used for good community events in society sometimes too.
I like to build community on Steemit and IRL too. I have fought for both.

Bikes On Bond shuts down the streets in about 4 directions, and maybe 3 blocks total, every summer for a day and change -- and the bikes - owners and residents gather to hang out, learn, chat and eat, it is pretty festive.
Of course it is filled with slimy politicians too, who view events like this as a way to shake hands with 1000 people all at once, and be visible to tons of people in one shot, and make them look like they are working or serving the regular people as they walk among us.
They waste our tax dollars, do not largely care about truly serving the public, take their raises and paychecks and tax breaks on their income, steal our civil liberties and suppress truth for residents but look at them out kissing babies for exposure, while ignoring us or damaging us the rest of the time.
AmIRight??
I am doing everything I can, for colourchallenge to NOT just post flowers every day like everyone else and some people have appreciated that LOL.
Lately this week, I have been sharing some of my personal protest/activism photos and thoughts.
I will leave those comments and photos in here as some of the colours match for colorchallenge days also, and you can read my thoughts on activism and philosophy and see those photos if you have not viewed them yet.
I believe Crypto Currency and the Blockchain is the great equalizer for humanity.
It continues today outside of city hall where I stood for ~80 days over the course of 1 full calendar year to raise awareness of the poor governance and transparency and service to residents who pay the freight.
Oshawa City Hall: 2 blocks from the police station who harassed me and badgered me needlessly to try and intimidate me with their constant pressure being the bullies in the police state they are, publicly paid, to target informed and innocent residents since of the lies and crap in the public sector.
Bad Governance in our Cities:
Many of the people I know are kinda hippies and see the lies in government and waste of tax dollars, and related theft of civil liberties.
Some Past Related Thoughts/Photos:
-- I think it is fitting given most of us here searching for more Liberty in our lives.
Being out off the grid is one way to develop more Self Reliance skills, as well as disconnect from "The Grid" --- and just immerse yourself in some nature, and the peace and quiet that goes along with it.
It has been proven being out in nature for periods of time, helps the overall health. And it makes sense too.
My interest in offgrid life for many years now, is Liberty based as well as wanting to be away from the rat race and closer to nature and the simple life
Bushcraft is basically "Self Reliance out in the Woods" where you take the things you need but Primitive Skills and Living etc is the focus.
And yes, I know most people are not reading most of a post on here, but that is not my fault.
I just post every day about what I like and what I care about and usually explain WHY.
One of the things being out in the bush with people can do is teach / show some UNITY -- even though in the grand scheme of the global poverty and political corruption it does not matter.
- but primitive skills and being able to work with people DOES count in times when you need them to.
It also does teach a lot of valuable life lessons.

But they are great memories for me!! You have to remember, some of the pictures I share at times, (not always of course LOL) are from 2006 and my year on the road....and so is the technology I was using then.
Digital Cameras were not what they are today, so the quality suffers. I usually quote the source of the tech I am using, depending on what album I am sharing from in my life.
