Forthechildren: chemistry lessons

The former principal seems to like my child.

I can still remember the first time they met. My child did not speak her language, hardly responding and only interested in drawing. She watched him, asked questions about his drawing and somehow they met.

Last week she gave 2 presents.

Candy which she bought in Thailand and today a wooden, painted egg. She bought it in Romania. I was allowed to eat the candy, since the plastic bag, the candies were wrapped in, looks way better and so does the wooden egg.

The former principal is also the chemistry teacher.

She is a real lady to see. She also lives in a big villa and drives a bmw. Personally I do not like her that much, but my child seems to like her and if it comes to it, that is all that counts. She thinks my child is great in chemistry and should join a school chemistry contest. This means we have to show up this week 3 times for extra lessons (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) although it is a school holiday.

Today it was the first time.

For over 2 hours I had to wait in my car, since I was not told how long it would take. It was kind of boring but at least I  had a happy child and a happy teacher.
