This challenege is what inspired to me to finally start writing on Steemit! My breakfast post is soon to come, but first a quick question from a newbie: how do you become a "verified" user? I uploaded my first post (introductory) last night, but I'm not sure what else I need to do before uploading my breakfast post to ensure I'm verified. I'm so glad to hear, welcome to Steemit!! Thanks for your contribution, looks yummy - and I can see we both likes food, hiking and dogs! :) To verify your account it's a good idea to make a short post were you hold a paper with your user name + todays date + "Steemit", or if you add the image as a comment to your first post were you made the introduction :) I'm sure you're a real person but it's just a formality so the community knows you are a not a bot or so. Here is how we did it:
