It's another incredible day in the Garden of Eden, and we are sharing another incredible feast! 

We have delicious, sustainable feasts with more food than anyone cares to eat every single day, and it is all prepared according to our high standards of building a better world for ALL creatures & protecting our living planet. 

Today, we made a yummy and rich meal of fried potatoes topped with sautéed veggies and creamy, decadent hollandaise sauce. We drizzled on a bit of hot sauce for a spicy kick!

We thoroughly enjoyed this indulgent feast from our sustainable outdoor kitchen! 

Our kitchen is just one shining example of a profound alternative to the mainstream way of meeting life's basic needs that we showcase in our ecovillage, and we hope that it inspires one and all to consider the very real & very fun options for structuring existence.  

We fried our potatoes over our hand built rocket stoves. Cooking over fire - especially at night - is so very enjoyable! It adds a flavor and liveliness to the dish that is very hard to replicate in a standard, modern kitchen. Not to mention we add layers upon layers of honor to the preparation by utilizing "trash" wood salvaged from the landfill cycle to burn as fuel, thus adding value to forsaken "waste"! 

The potatoes turned out perfectly golden brown, crispy on the outside, and nice and starchy on the inside. 

We topped the potatoes first with some of the delicious sautéed vegetables we had left over from yesterday's feast. We included peppers, onions, garlic, cabbage, mushrooms, and squash in this earthy, vitamin rich medley. 

Then we poured on the hollandaise sauce! We really enjoy this thick, creamy, rich sauce, especially as a special treat on the off days of the anti-candida cleanse diet we have been following for over a month.

Hollandaise calls for melted butter, egg yolks, and a bit of lemon juice. It takes a touch of skill to get it perfectly smooth without separating, and it is delicious over eggs, chicken, fish, or veggies like we enjoyed today! 

And as if today's meal wasn't sumptuous enough, we topped off the meal with a sticky, sweet, thick, chocolatey peanut butter banana cake!!! 

The ooey gooey frosting/sauce was a beautiful compliment to the crumbly, thick, dense, peanut buttery cake that was moistened with ripe bananas. It was perfectly sweet & choco-riffic!!
