My dear foodies,

Today we will be preparing another delicious hamburger, but in our vegan version, no animal products, and those fats that do so much damage to the human body, if we compare our vegan hamburger against one of meat origin, we will have that the street hamburger has at least 700 calories, a real time bomb for our heart and our body.

My secrets INGREDIENTS

(for 4 portions):

♡ 400 gr. of cooked chickpeas

♡ 100 gr. of couscous

♡ 1 crushed raw garlic

♡ 2 tbsp. olive oil

♡ 2 c.c. of paprika

♡ 1 tbsp. white pepper

♡ 2 c.c. of barbecue seasoning

♡ 3 large green peppers

♡ 2 onions

♡ Salt

PREPARATION

Preparation time: 25min
Cooking time: 25min
Total: 50min

First, we cook the couscous as indicated by the manufacturer and reserve.

Next, we chamois in a bowl the chickpeas with the help of a fork or a mortar wedge. Add the couscous, crushed garlic, oil, white pepper, salt, paprika, and barbecue seasoning. Work the dough with your hands or a fork until all the ingredients are well mixed.

Form balls of 125 gr. and crush them with your hands, giving them the shape of a hamburger.

Cut the clean peppers and the onion into strips. Heat a frying pan and add a generous amount of oil. First, fry the pepper and when it is soft, add the onion. Add salt to taste and set aside.

Cook our hamburgers for about 5 minutes on each side or until they brown and form a toasted layer.

We'll serve the burgers with the pepper and the onion.
