Good morning steemit. Green smoothie time on my side of the world ;) The second week of our bakery is almost coming to an end. Sunday after lunch we close our doors until Tuesday morning. It's been another busy week so I am looking forward to taking a day off and relax.

Sunday after we close, we are planning a get together with a few good friends. Good food, sun, and amazing company. What else do you need after a hectic week at work? And then Monday a day of complete rest! Cheers to that!

But first things first, finish another great week at our little bakery!

MORINGA PASSION FRUIT MORNING KICK ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿธ

INGREDIENTS (serves 2)


  • 1.5 cup papaya
  • 1 banana
  • 1.5 cup dragonfruit
  • 2-3 passion fruit
  • 1.5 cup moringa
  • 1 cup bok choy
  • Water as needed
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin coconut oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blend moringa, bok choy and water until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can blend everything at once.
  2. Optional: top with toppings/superfoods of your choice (chia seeds, goji berries, desiccated coconut, hemp hearts etc.). I didn't make this at home so no superfood toppings this tile :(

I really like passion fruit and how it adds some tartness to smoothies or desserts. Glad to hear that you are taking a well deserved day off!

What a terrific suggestion. I do miss the passion fruit in Asia. We just planted some herbs in the garden and next we will be working on some veggies. I'm not the best gardener so let's see what will grow, haha. I hope you enjoy your day off.

With moringa and papaya, cant get healthier than this right! Wow! I am just going to make myself a green smoothie now, with mango, mint, spinach, lemon juice, oat milk, apple, and perhaps some wild frozen blueberries;) Yumm! Happy weekend lovely friend!
