These fruit drinks must be very aromatic and pleasant to the palate, as well as exhilarating (haha!). Although I'm not very fond of sweet drinks, they look very attractive, and even more so if we can make them in a handmade way. In Venezuela (I don't know if in other Latin American countries), particularly in the eastern zone (where I live), there is an alcoholic beverage ("espirituosa", they tell here) that is traditionally made a handmade way, for family and commercial consumption, made from a fruit that here is called "ponsigué", apparently coming from Asia or Africa (I leave a link about this fruit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ziziphus_mauritiana). It is a drink that is macerated in a glass bottle with aged rum, sugar, cloves and cinnamon, throughout the year to be consumed, especially, at Christmas time.
Thank you for your pleasant post with those first-rate recipes, @lizelle.

Sure will be exhilarating if one has one too many not so, but aromatic is the perfect description! One would only drink a tiny liqueur glass full at the end of a meal, nice for a special celebration:):)
Thank you for your valued comment and the info about that fruit, it looks just like an apple. the drink you described also sounds very aromatic with those spices!

What beautiful liqueurs and make an excellent gift this holiday season, @lizelle. In Venezuela it is customary to make many sweet liqueurs, especially one called "Ponchecrema", which is made with condesada milk, egg and rum. It is a smooth, thick and delicious liqueur. The two recipes you share look easy and best of all, they are made with few ingredients. Being sweet and spicy, it can also be a good digestive to drink after dinner. Cheers

Thank you so much @nancybriti, we call that liqueur an egg nog I believe, never made it but sounds rich and delicious;)
Some of our Venezuelan friends say it's difficult getting some ingredients, your country really is going through difficult times!
