Clivia are plant, that grows well under shade and are low in maintenance.
They have evergreen strappy leaves that grow from stocky rhizomes and they grows in clumps that can be easily be divided. They have large Bright Trumpet shaped flowers , mostly in spring. they can also grow happily in large pot too.
Clivia are native to South Africa.

It is nice to have a bright spot in the shade. And these plants will do it. And it's nice to have plants that we can divide and give to friends or use more places.
