My Aloe variegata
I recently bought Aloe variegata.
I have long wanted to buy it, because I really like its bloom.
Home for Aloe variegata is the arid, semi-desert plains of South Africa.
The height of Aloe variegata reaches up to 30 cm.
This is a very unpretentious plant.
Flowering occurs at 4-6 year of life, in summer.
It usually blooms in late winter or early spring.
The flowers are located on peduncles, up to 30 cm in height, appear from the axils of the leaves, coral-pink in color.
The temperature in winter should not fall below + 10 ° C.
When watering you need to make sure that water does not get
in the sinuses of the leaves, as this can cause rotting.
Wow! This is a really big and fat aloe! Pity! We cannot eat this plant as salad!

Good choice! These come from very arid areas and you can treat them like a cactus. The name has been changed to Gonialoe variegata because they are actually quite closely related to Gasteria although the flowers are like that of Aloe
Thank you very much!!!
