I hope you enjoyed this week's episode--I'd love to hear what you think! In case you were wondering why the lepers had Brooklyn accents, that scene was a spoof off one in Martin Scorcese's student film, Who's That Knocking at my Door. ;) Be sure to tune in next week to find out what happens next!

If you're just joining now and want to catch up with previous episodes, you can find them below:

Episode One: Tristan's Backstory, and why I am posting this screenplay on the Internet
Episode Two: The Irish Invadors
Episode Three: The Healer Princess
Episode Four: Killing the Dragon
Episode Five: The Love Potion
Episode Six: The Bear and the Rote Player
Episode Seven: The Meeting in the Orchard
Episode Eight: The Hunt

If you're enjoying this series, please upvote, comment, resteem, and follow--your interaction is a very real way to show producers what kind of shows you'd like to see. Thank you!

Excellent post!

Good.Have you been writing long?

Thanks. :) I've been at it for a few years.

I’m following so keep up the good work! Ever read ‘Save the Cat?

Thanks, I'm really happy to know that! I haven't read Save the Cat but I'm familiar with the concept. I know this screenplay doesn't exactly fit the traditional "screenplay structure," which is why I think it would work better as a series, with each of these scenes being developed into an episode. It's a long story and there's a lot of humorous potential there. :)

You may be right but don't make that decision too soon. I'm in the 7th, year with one of my screenplays. Often they have a life of their own! You just keep writing and then things start falling into place. Save the Cat gives you insight into what a Studio Executive wants to see in a screenplay. It's not without its shortcomings but is a good perspective on screenwriting.
