Tristan and Yseut Screenplay Episode: The Love Potion

Welcome to the next episode of this comedic retelling of Tristan and Isolde (aka Yseut)! Sorry that it's been two weeks since I posted the last episode--I've been busy writing other things. This particular episode is pretty long, and maybe I should have included the Roman bath scene at the end of the last one rather than here, but I hope you'll enjoy it anyway. :)

To recap: Tristan killed a dragon in the Irish countryside to win the hand of Princess Yseut for King Mark. Unfortunately, he stuck the dragon's tongue in his sock and collapsed from the poison before he could make it back to the hall. In the meantime, the Irish king's cowardly seneschal came by, cut off the dragon's head, and went to claim Yseut as his own wife.

Yseut, her mother, and her maidservant Brangain found Tristan and guessed what had happened. They still don't know, however, that he was the one who killed the queen's brother, Morholt, by stabbing him in the head. They carry Tristan back to the hall in hopes that he will live to be the bridegroom himself. Tristan finds himself once again being nursed by the healer princess...
