Tristan and Yseut Screenplay Episode: The Bear and the Rote Player

Welcome to the next episode in this comedic retelling of the story of Tristan and Isolde (aka Yseut)! Last week the two teens accidentally drank a love potion and then slept together before Yseut's wedding to King Mark. To cover up their crime, they made Yseut's virgin maidservant, Brangain, sleep with King Mark on the wedding night. Now Yseut is worried that Brangain might tell...

I remember feeling really insecure when I wrote this section of the screenplay. I felt Yseut's selfishness made her an irredeemably unlikeable character, and Tristan wasn't much better. I showed it to a friend at the time and he said he thought it worked. What do you think?
