"You told me you would be available in 5 minuites, 8 minuites is gone already you know what,just forget it,i will find me another cab", she hunged up. "Damn!" hope am with all the documents required"

"jeez!!" she dropped her bad "watch it!! this is a street not an express road" the driver rushed out of the car "are you okay? Let me help you with your bag" he said. " i rather you help yourself with a better driving skill", she picked her bag. "am really sorry but you weren't watching the road,i would avoid this street next time" he said. "good for you! Cab!!!!" she called out,there was a passanger inside. She looked at her wrist watch, "God am screwed"
"which way are you going? i could give you a lift", she gave him that do i look like a less privilege look "at least to make it up to you" he chipped in. She strained her eyes,there wasn't sign of any cab. "i would accept the offer,not to make you feel any better but because i am left without a choice. I am heading to up town, Grace land Avenue,if you can get me there 9am on the dot or less, i wouldn't mind." He glanced at his wrist watch "wow.... Its just 6 minutes to go and that is quite a distance, i am not a time traveller but if we gonna make it anything close,we should leave right away." He opened the front door for her, went to the drivers seat and they zoomed off.

What torture is worst than this he was driving pretty slow and the look on his face was so innocent. She was boiling all-over now you see why i hate men she eyed him,this idiot is probably having fun out of my expense, 9:25am? No i can't take this anymore "who among you is sick? You or your car? He smiled and ket driving annoyingly slow. "stop the car,i want to get down" He increased the volume of the Celine Deon music playing Am alife and drove faster. "are you kidding me?" in less than 3 minutes they were at Grace Avenue,The Royals Show House. She didn't remember telling him the exact place she was going to but she was too late to make anything out of it. He opened the door for her and walked down to the building right after her.

"Hi,am here for the interview", she presented her invitee to the receptionist who had a funny look."I know am pretty late, can i still get in?" "its your lucky day,the manager is anchoring the interview himself and he is yet to arrive.......ohhhh there he is,good morning Dave" He waved at the receptionist. Fidelia was left confused "sorry to bug you, is that your manager? " she asked. "yes that's him,unresistably handsome right? But he is such a waste as he doesn't have eyes for ladies." she was stormed oh my!!! hope i wasn't too rude in the car "where is the interview holding? " "take the elevator to the 4th floor, the first door by your left." She thanked her and took her leave.

The first door by the left on the 4th floor lead to the managers palace like office and unlike she expected, there was no other person present for the interview. "Come in", he said rolling his seat. "are you here for the interview? " no,i came here all the way to watch you roll on your seat "yes,has it been postponed?"
"no,have a seat" he replied "Thank you, seems am the only one interested in the job " she looked around "you think?" he bit into his cookie and sipped coffee from his mug,spilling some on his jaw,he wiped it with his little finger and licked it, there was a hand towel right beside him. He loosened the first two buttons of his shirt,she swallowed. "you were the most qualified so we thought it unnecessary to invite the rest for an interview"
She smiled. "but the job is not yours yet,not with you coming for interview dressed like you are mourning a lover.We have a night event to cover today and you should be there but i don't know if i can trust you" he sneered.

The job is not mine yet and am to be at an event tonight with such a short notice, if i had any slight idea that my dream job was managed by one egocentric idiot,i should be on my bed watching zee world with a chilled drink "hello!!! You here?" he waved. "sure,what if i cant make it to the event tonight? "she asked. "then we probably made the wrong choice" he replied. heaven knows that if not for my daring need for this job,i would have walked out of the door,after sticking my middle finger to his face. "i will be there,where is the location?" he passed a card to her "wow! Domino's new site opening"she exclaimed "yes,a big one,don't just be there,be puctual and dress like an elegant event planner.That is all for now,see you by 9." He turned his seat to face the beautiful view outside the window he couldn't wait to get rid of me yeah.

"How was your interview?" Jasmime asked her roomate who was looking really worn out "i don't want to talk about it,help me with a drink"
"Not until you tell me what i want to hear"
"durh....i still have my legs" she went to the fridge and got herself a drink.
"Whatever,are you coming for the dinner? Please......." Jasmine pleaded.
"Are you for real? Its a closed chapter, am not in for any blind date,quit trying." Fidelia responded.
"babe you aren't getting any younger, you need a man in your life" Jasmine persuaded. "see who is talking, last time i checked you have no ring in your finger" Fidelia tackled.
"but am in a serious relationship" Jasmine said displeased.
"relationship, marriage,is not for everyone sweetie,give me some breathing space,besides we had a bet that I would be responsible for your shopping fee if i eventually attend the party, that's enough reason to keep my ass at home......that reminds me" she dragged her to her room. "i need you to pick a dress for me,the idiot said i should dress elegant. "wow! You have a date?" Florida asked with a broad smile. "idiot,she threw a pillow at her,its an event for my to be place of work. "
"hmmmm.. this work rhapsody you refused to gist me,well helping you rock the day is my pleasure. "
"ok,i will tell you everything before you start thinking otherwise."

She was there 20 minutes to 9,he was there already looking super cute and elegant. "wow!!! You look really dashing" he said and walked her into the hall,she got to find out that this wasn't Domino's opening but the after party.
"Guess who just got pranked and will pay for my shopping" Jasmine said from behind. "Jasmine!!! what are you doing here?" Fidelia asked perplexed.
"i invited you to the party,shouldn't i be here" Jasmine responded, laughing out loud. "you.........its not same........" Fidelia stammered. "You were too busy and strong headed to get the full info of the party,thank God,it helped my plan work easier",Jasmine exchanged greetings with Dave. "you two" Florida pointed at them, "you mean all this is some kind of joke?" nobody responded "am out of here". Dave caught her by the arm,pulled her to him and planted a kiss on her lips,she melted.

The rest of the night was blue and fun
