#15: Levi - “Swat Team”

............... the night manager said. “Those guys like to hurt people. They’ll use any excuse. You better get out of sight. I got to go back to the office. Take care”
He left.
Levi stepped into the trees that were adjacent to the U-Store-It lot. He didn’t look back. When he was out of earshot he started running. He didn’t run actually. His bad leg wouldn’t allow that. He limped fast. He hobbled as quickly as he could and fell down a lot. Unfortunately he made a lot of noise. Oddly enough he could see. The sunglasses were providing him with night vision.
“You might want stop and rest a bit. You’re going to need your strength real soon.” Jeannie said “Put on your boots and check out your wizard staff. You’re going to need it in a few minutes. You have unwelcome company coming.”
“What?” Levi said
“Sigh You have the attention span of a gnat.” She said theatrically “You made a lot of noise crashing through the brush. Like a wounded animal. Wounded animals attract predators. You did that. A street gang is coming.”
“Uh Oh.” Levi said.

Well we are in the maximum suspense with the confrontation that is about to arrive between Levi and his possible pursuers (Swat Team) ... Now I will go through chapter # 16. It's interesting
