Silence.
“Jeannie?” he said.
“Yes master?” she replied.
“No huh?” he stated…
“Nope”. She agreed.
“No SixPack.” Levi decided. “But I got a keg, or I did. Where’d it go?”
“Building materials” Jeanie said “ Actually there was a big tumor. That’s why your belly was so big while the rest of you was skinny. I used it to make repairs other places. Right now you look more like Gandalf, minus the cute and cuddly parts that is.”
“Oh. Well. I can live with that.“ He sighed. “Wizards are cool. I need some boots, and a walking staff to complete the image.“
“Ok. I can do that.” she told him “I’ll make some boots, Staff too. You want the wizard model? I assume you want the best of each and the Tacti-Cool version if available?”
“ Of course.” he said.
He’d no more finished getting ‘dressed than someone knocked on the door.
“Uh oh” Levi said “That’s not good. No one is supposed to know that I’m in here.”
“Open up in there” came the hushed voice. It wasn’t very loud. It was almost like who ever it was didn’t want anyone else to hear. “I know you’re in there. Come on out. We need to talk.”
“Damn” Levi said. “This is bad.”
He had no choice really. He opened the door. The night manager of the U-Store-It stood just outside.

LOL, love the twist at the end.
Definitely not easy to enter your fiction, but I still and I like to do it ... I think these two employees, very friends, are playing to try on a series of clothes to see how they look ... Levi and Jeannie are accomplices in this fact and will have to render accounts in front of the night manager ...
that's one way to look at it.
I've never heard it put exactly like that before.

Instead of a magic wand and a voice in my head, I got a visit from a giant bully from High School, who I chased off with a wholly different kind a magic wand: a Remington model 66 .22LR, with a tube magazine and plastic stock.
He grabbed the passenger doorframe, with the window rolled down, and bent the top of the door out, at ~45 degree angle. I had the .22 on the bench seat next to me, and pointed it in his face. He was going to kill me until then.
I told him "Put it back."
He said "Ok." and did.
I said "Go away."
He said "Ok." and did.
The window even rolled up fine.
Thank the gods for magic wands =p
Next time I saw him, it was a different story, and he, I, and the girl I convinced to give him crabs, were all happy.
Honestly, I think he remembers me fondly to this day. Cindy was worth every itch =p
