Chapter 71: Shaniqua spent a LOT of time

......thinking about what she wanted in her new home. Visions had come to her in a dream. She wanted a home in the sky. The Arches were just right. One day shortly after the lease with the Browns was signed, (she insisted on giving them much more money than they ever dreamed of) she asked Roy and Sally to help her design what she wanted. Roy didn’t take much convincing. As a matter of fact he’d hated to see his pride and joy go unused. It turned out that Sally had taken a dual degree, one of which was architectural design. When Shaniqua explained what she wanted to do Sally almost drooled.

The three of them spent a lot of time together after that. First in the design of her new home and later overseeing it’s construction. They were having it built in a ship yard by a company that made cruise ships. Shaniqua wanted to oversee every aspect of it and she was determined to do so. Unfortunately she had a newspaper to run.
