Joshua asked

Yvette said “Nope. No homeless close by. We’re running short on SSmoke too. Time to call it a day and stock up?”

Joshua said “Sounds reasonable. Pick a motel and we’ll head that way.”

Joshua was a good kid. Through none of his doing he’d had bad luck turn to good. He figured that he couldn’t do much to repay whoever had helped him so he was paying it forward. He was helping people that could not help themselves.

Joshua was an UberGeek and that was a good thing. He and Yvette had spent many a sleepless night poring through the library and learning about the SSmoke. Now they were using it.

Yvette went online, found a motel, reserved a room and paid. Then she modified the ‘yellow brick road’ in Joshua’s HUD.

Yvette said “Notice the waypoint? It’s an auto parts store. We can pick up a case of motor oil.”

Joshua said “Works for me….”

Joshua rolled on…
