F3 Recap [006#] - Fiction [001#]
The F3 Recap will be revisiting some of the members who've continued to create and publish incredible content after their inaugural mention in the Finder Frog Focus post earlier in the week.
We will also be sharing new posts on the topic that have been found since then, content creation can be difficult at times and it is great to still find so many who are creating with passion and sharing that with us.
@DavidKain
@DavidKain
Also known as @Svashta, whom as mentioned in the first finder frog focus is a prolific writer, he does a freewrite almost every day with prompt based short stories every few days.
Recently interviewed by @Curator we get to learn more about @DavidKain the man and his process that lead to the publishing of his first book Bits of Dread, be sure to head on over to the interview to read the full interview - Qurator Interview
In his most recent short story, @DavidKain introduces us to a psychoanalyst who excels at his chosen line of work. Anything to do with the psyche can have adverse effects on those who wish to study it, trademarked as the calling of those who possess a certain type of mental fortitude and interest in the thought process of others beyond the average person.
The protagonist is no different, but there does seem to be lines that should not be crossed, where curiosity outweighs fortitude. Hop on over and enjoy this story for yourself.
@Calluna
Being able to draw your reader in and keeping them immersed is a skill that even some great authors arguably struggle with, they might want to get a few tips from @Calluna.
Her scenes and dialogue are perfectly crafted to make you watch the movie in your mind like any good story does, you find yourself changing your inner voice as the characters interact and before you know it you have been transported to a new state of mind.
Her entry to @Tygertyger's #Electricdreams contest is beautifully crafted with just enough detail change so to not feel foreign and thereby making it hard to imagine. She takes us through the scenario of a vast experiment crossing time itself, but to know whether the experiment has been successful you do need to be able to compare results.
The simplest way to know whether you have succeeded in an experiment is to get samples from all the affected and you will also need a control subject. Learn more about what happens by heading over to her post.
Anymore?
We also have a few more posts to share with you, from members in their initial mention of the first Finder Frog Focus on our topic and some we may have missed. Be sure to show support and leave your thoughts on their posts as all of them do their best to produce amazing content we can all enjoy.
