I'm going with a yellow theme today for my #featheredfriday birds.
All of these birds have visited my yard, but since I am not positive about the identification of all of them, I'll leave it up to you!

Yellow is my favorite color, so I am always delighted when any of these birds stop by!

Howdy Melinda! Wow those are great colored birds there! I really like that one with the three yellow spots, he looks kinda mean though, maybe it's a female! lol.

They were everywhere earlier this morning. I can't believe you didn't see them. You can still see them on curator Hulk page but it appears the nasty language has been removed from them. And I see the Hulk is smashing for mepatriot.
I think I saw one somewhere or maybe that was yesterday. I told mepatriot about curatorhulk as soon as I found out about it and he said he was going over there. How did you know hulk was on mepatriot's site? Do you know EVERYTHING? lol.
Ha! I just read a lot! Hulk said he had it covered.

Such cute birds! Where in the world you live @melinda010100?. If it's in the american continent, you have an incredible app callen Merlin, from Cornel University, that helps a lot in identifying unknown birds. I've used it while travelling and it's just amazing, most of the birds from my Costa Rica trip were identified thanks to merlin app. Give it a try! ;)
I do have Merlin on my phone. I'm in Wisconsin in the American Midwest about an hour's drive from the Mississippi River. I did look up those birds that one that I suspect is a warbler was all puffed up because it was so cold outside and it was hard to tell from the photos what he was, and that last one I suspect is a juvenile, maybe Goldfinch, but again I'm not certain., and there was nothing in Merlin that looked like him at all. Some of these birds forget to follow the rules!
I think they are a male goldfinch, yellow rump warbler and bottom is a female goldfinch
but I agree, there are differences due to season and location.
Thanks for those IDs. I had never seen the warbler before. It was a new one for me so I wasn't totally certain.

I've never seen birds like those where I live. I did own some gray colored finches when I was a kid. They are such small birds and so pretty. I love yellow birds. You got some great shots.
