A LAVISH FEAST.

COUNTRYSIDE OF ITALY, Year:1880…There was a family of four, A young married couple and their parents. Everything was going well until the worst day struck their destiny. The young couple were surprised to see an old woman at their doorstep. She was begging Elena, the woman of the house, for some food. But Elena, declined her and banged the door on her face.
         The old woman was annoyed with her behavior and cursed their family with a childless home. Years passed but there was no sign of any child in their family. Sharon, Elena’s mother-in-law had gone to an astrologer and bought an  Emeraldring for her grandchild. Who knew ill luck will take over them..
          The other day,while crossing an orphanage Elena and Alex decided to adopt a child and make their family complete. They entered the orphanage and saw many children of various ages. With the guidance of the manager they came across a five year old boy.            A boy with tranquil and placidlook gifted with eyes that reflect angelic qualities, brown hair and a tinge of blush all over his cheeks. He was the cutest of all and they decided to bring the child home.           The child was named Gillian. He was a skinny child whose ribs were clearly visible. The Ring that was made for him was clearly too loose. So, Sharon decided to gift it to him on his birthday. Days passed and Gillian mixed well with the family members. He played with his grandma and everyone loved him. After all their family was now complete.          A year passed very smoothly and it was time for Gillian’s sixth birthday!! He gained weight and now looked like a plum and chubby child. He loved the delicious food cooked by his grandma and devoured it. He was the apple of their eyes.            The big day came, it was Gillian’s sixth birthday! The house was filled with excitement and energy.. All the preparations for theLAVISH FEAST was being done by grandma Sharon.            Elena and Alex set out to get a gift for Gillian. Sharon presented the Ring to him. He was hopping gleefully with his new ring. All the preparations went well for the Lavish feast and the aroma spread everywhere in and out of the house.          Elena and Alex came at dinner time and joined their parents for the Lavish feast. The four of them dug into their plates and savored the dishes..They were eating in complete silence just when something stuck in Alex’s teeth! He took that thing out from his mouth only to discover that it was The Emerald ring that Sharon had gifted to Gillian!      An annoyed and frustrated Alex told his mother, “YOU COULD’VE REMOVED THE RING BEFORE COOKING IT!”      WELL,DID I MENTION IT WAS A LAVISH CANNIBAL’S FEAST?
