Beautiful Sunday: what a beautiful day with a lot of work,วันที่สดใสมาพร้อมงานเพียบ

This is my entry for #beautifulsunday hosted by @ace108. The rainy season has gone and the sky becomes bright blue again.

The breezes have become stronger coming from the north. Soon it will be the time to see migratory birds from China and Russia. We ought to have more big trees for them to nest during the winter months. I love to see the arrow shape of these birds’ flying formation. Here, we have a lot to do in the garden.

My gardener usually picks some chili and green brinjals for local vendors in the morning.

We have to deal with many red ants on most of our mango trees so we have to remove several big nests and place them in wooded area nearby. It has been impossibly to do serious pruning of the fruit trees in my gardens. Later in the afternoon, we plant the rest of those ten saplings of white flowering plants along the garden path. The two new mango trees also need to be planted along the fence next to the mahogany trees.

I am very happy to see all those thirty odd saplings we planted during the last three months have grown up quite tall. The small fruit trees have started to bear small fruits. My gardener will have to race against those squirrels in being the first to harvest those sweet fruits!

The fence is now green with trees; these will also act as wind breaker for smaller shrubs and vegetable patches. The fruit trees are also doing well.

I have a plan to plant more hard wood trees close together so that in a few years’ time,I could build a tree house perching in the middle of circling trees.
The young banana trees are also growing nicely because of the heavy rain last month.

วันอาทิตย์นี้อากาศสดใสมาก ท้องฟ้าสีสดและลมแรงมาก ฝนหยุดตกแล้ว และอีกไม่นานลมหนาวก็จะมาเยือน เราคิดว่าปีนี้จะหนาวกว่าปีที่แล้วมาก วันนี้มีงานทำมากมาย ตอนเช้าคนสวนก็เก็บผลผลิตไปส่งแม่ค้าที่ตลาด มีพริกและมะเขือเปราะ เราก็ต้องเริ่มตัดต้นไม้ให้พุ่มดูดี เตรียมพร้อมสำหรับการมีดอกในหน้าหนาวต่อไป แต่ก็เจอรังมดแดงมากมาย จนต้องช่วยกันตัดรังใส่ถุงเอาไปปล่อยป่าละเมาะที่ไม่มีคน เราจะได้ทำงานได้เต็มที่ด้วย ตกบ่ายๆเราก็พากันไปปลูกมะม่วงที่ซื้อมาใหม่สองต้น ตอนนี้ที่ริมรี้วมีต้นไม้เรียงเป็นแถว ต่อไปก็จะกลายเป็นรั้วสีเขียว ต้นไม้ที่ปลูกไว้สามสี่เดือนก่อนก็โตขึ้นมาก

I still have to entertain the cats and feed them. They seem to know how to make me feel guilty so I have to give them grilled mackerels and some omelette.

นอกจากนี้เรายังต้องดูแลแมวทั้งหลาย และให้ปลาทูย่าง กับไข่เจียวเพื่อเสริมสร้างกระดูกให้แข็งแรงด้วย ตอนเย็นจึงได้ไปเดินออกกำลังกายที่ริมแม่นํ้าโขง เวลาผ่านไปรวดเร็วมากจริงๆ

Evening walk by the river! Nature is so beautiful.
