Ignorant human beings are still playing the game of power with complacency, as if they were the masters of the world ~ 昨天空闲时间看了这部分电视剧的片段，发现与原著完全不一样。剧版侧重显示异鬼和尸鬼的骇人形象，还把野人们的死亡现场布置成特殊的形状，暗示了某种仪式。原著则侧重凸显守夜人的尽职、凛冬季节的极寒，鬼怪的形象是一带而过的介绍：眼睛蓝&冷若冰雪、像被指令引导着一样行动一致、人数多、刀剑不入且钢铁被震碎，还讲听不懂的话却能让人看懂嘲弄的神情。

三个守夜人的汉子尽显作者对人物的写作风格——复杂多变，好坏均有。

头儿罗伊斯爵士是个18岁的孩子，家境好、装备精良，但没有战斗经验。盖瑞德是个经验丰富的老兵，经历凛冬冻掉了部分肢体，对异样有着敏感的恐惧。威尔比较居中，没有如此分明的性情。爵士面对两个老兵提出的任务已算完成、应该返回交差的建议，以领导者的立场，提出了证据不确凿、继续行进追杀野人的命令，终至遭逢异鬼不幸殒命。这里有他刚愎自用的一面，但面对瘆人的异鬼，他还是发扬了守夜人汉子的风格，英勇应战，死的很漂亮。何况还有四年经验的威尔被恐惧吓得瘫软、完全不敢发声发挥哨兵作用的形象反差。盖瑞德作为老资格的属下，给予建议时只能依靠自身的经验，没有足够的说服力，加上夏虫不可语冰，这么奇特的经验也实在是难以传授。加上异鬼的消息从未传播至此，英勇的汉子们何以料到敌人是如此难以对付的异类。

总之，序言部分就是异鬼以不被人察觉、不能匹敌、如入无人之境的"压倒性态势"😂宣告到来。无知的人类还在自满得意的玩弄着权力的游戏，仿佛世界的主宰～
